Old Sat Receiver/Recorder Just Died, Need Suggestions For Cheap Used Replacement.
I just had a 35 minute power outage. When the power came back on, my 7 years old Hyundai Digital Technology HSS-820HCI was dead.
I’m looking to replace it as cheaply as possible. Since that particular receiver never was that common to begin with and is hard to find now, I could use some suggestions with regards to other once pricey, now cheap, brands and models I should be looking out for on eBay. The thing would need to have a hard drive, and DiSEqC 1.2 so it can drive my dish rotor. The Hyundai has two common interface slots, it would be a bonus if the replacement had at least one of those. I don’t care if it’s an older model, can be as old as the Hyundai for all I care, and I don’t need HDTV or anything like that, I just would like something that isn’t a complete POS. Cheers. |
