If and when Philip is team leader...
...I think he will be either brilliant or awful - no halfway measures. It could be the making or breaking of him in this competition. I look forward to it with interest.

He'll probably be very autocratic so that the ideas are all down to him, then, if he loses he'll bring a couple of 'low fliers' back to the boardroom and say they didn't work hard enough.
Whatever the truth of the matter Sugar will fall for his version hook, line and sinker and he'll survive another week. The only way he'll lose is if he has another pants idea and someone makes a very strong case against it early on. Even then it wouldn't surprise me if he Sugar fired that person on the grounds they 'undermined the team leader'. (remember his big cock up early in S1?) |

As someone said on You're Fired, he needs someone to edit him. As team leader no-one will have the power to do that, so it will partly depend on whether he has the self-knowledge to seek balance from other people. He may do - he may behave differently in different roles.
Then again, he may not, and may just zoom ahead unrestrained. And then it will depend on whether he's heading in the right direction. His judgement isn't always sound, although he is generally right. He may be better simply through now having the power to stop other people's stupidity. He got very frustrated when Nooral was leader, for example, and without that kind of irritation he could be much nicer. I agree he'll be brilliant or awful, and I'd put the chances at 75:25. |

Juding by the previews the idea of there being no halfway measures is either wrong or he's on the awful side
![]() Margaret is seen to be saying that whatever his team is doing has to be one of the most stupidest things they've ever done. |

Of course, even he was new to the TA process at the time and I think he realised his mistake very quickly. |

He's not skilled in business matters at all from what I've seen. Seems to be out of his depth and lacking in idea's and common sense. The pants idea could've been seen as brilliant or complete rubbish. I am also interested to see him as PM.

Despite the fact that Miranda seemed to have potential and Adele had performed abysmally, Sir Alan chose to fire Miranda because she had "undermined the team leader". Bizarre but very Sir Alan. |
