This phone has a built in service where it intermittently calls 1571 for you and if you have any messages, flashes a light on the front of the phone to let you know.
Wonderful.... BUT
It rings 1571 almost CONSTANTLY and the LCD screen has "checking for messages" on it almost all the time. The result? People complaining they can't ever contact me on the house phone and are always being put though to 1571 as "the person you are calling is on the phone"! No, I'm bloody not!
Who in the hell designed the software for the phone to make it call 1571 every 3-5 minutes? How infuriating. And I can't even find a different phone in the same style to replace it with (single unit, wall mountable, LCD display with Caller ID).
