Wierd thing happened on iTunes

I had £0.68 remaining on my account which was from an iTunes gift voucher given to me on my birthday.

So I thought i'll spend it on an application and bought one on my iPod worth £0.59. It asked me to log into my account and I did so. Fair enough. I even got the reciept for it in my email inbox.

But, when I went and connected my iPod to the computer and started up iTunes it was still showing £0.68 in my account?

So I thought i'll try it again and I managed to buy another application (from my laptop)...

It was wierd. Wondered why it didnt register the previous application that I had bought? Ive now got both the applications on my iPod..

Payments are usually slightly delayed. I know they are with cards at least. One of the reasons they do that is to cut down on the amount of transaction fees. It seems odd that they would let this kind of thing happen though. I wouldn't go overboard though as they may ask for the money back.
