Marco eating off that big sharp knife
Why? Is it a macho thing? It's also far too long, it hardly reaches his gob.

Maybe it's because he is temped to just stick his fingers in the food, he did that a lot last series. Perhaps someone complained it looked unhygienic, and the knife is a substitute!

It's blunt imo, he's had it since the series started and has played with it, it has to be blunt.

If he suddenly slipped it could go into his throat! I just hope kids don't start eating their food like Marco does!!!
I noticed tonight that he ate something from that long knife and then stuck it into a jar of something yellow (mustard maybe) and then stuck the knife into some food on one of the plates, so surely that jar is now contaminated!! I am very hygienic in my kitchen and have always told my family never to put a used spoon or knife into something like mustard, mayo etc as it could cause it to go off but Marco seems to ignore that! |

He should know better really. It's considered bad manners to eat off a knife.

It's bad manners to eat with your knife, with a bit of luck he will cut his tongue.

Table manners? Do they really apply when in a kitchen?

Yes, most odd. Any man that feels fiddling menacingly with a knife is image enhancing is questionable in my view. I think he likes to think of himself as a bit of a hunter, and the eating off the knife is very medieval. He is a bit of a Henry VIII.
