Yes, she does indeed look great for her age and I thought she came across really well, plus she wants Linda to win

Yes, it was Eamonn and Ruth. Eamonn was really nice to her and it was a good interview.

Their spat was a long time ago so it's all water under the bridge now for both of them I should imagine. They've both moved on in their lives.

Fair enough, but she's never had to look after them full time, plus she's never had to worry about money..,she does look good for her age though.

She desperately wanted her own children - and went through a number of IVF attempts without success.

I've been away for a few days and met someone who lives not far from her and Grant and apparently she does like to play the squire's wife. e.g. walks into the pub and expects to be served immediately whatever the size of the queue. Apparently not the most popular resident in the village, which quite surprises me; she was often called false for her bubbly personality but I thought she was quite natural - and I always thought her prima donna image was undeserved.

Seems I'm not that good a judge of character after all.

btw the person who told me this is not the bitchy sort - normally if she can't say something nice, she says nothing at all.

That is very interesting, I feel the same as you about an undeserved image, but she always does seem to attract an amount of unpopularity that makes me wonder. But she does seem very popular with people too - loads of diners seemed fond of her in the restaurant.

She does look good for her age, and on balance, I still quite like her. She is too competitive and show biz to be someone I would want as a friend, but I think she is a strong and capable women.
