If they got Gordon back, I couldn't watch it. He's far too predictable. At least Marco is slightly mad, so I'm never quite sure what he's going to say...
Ramsey is too busy , anyway !

Ah, just in time for the Hells Kitchen final and The Chopping Block, basically Hells Kitchen with normal people based in America. ITV2, Sunday
The Chopping Block is like The Restaurant, completely different to Hell's Kitchen. But a cheap version with the couples split into teams managing 2 restaurants rather than having a restaurant each.

I watched the few weeks it lasted, but it was not great, and was not surprised it was pulled from the schedules mid season. Bad reviews and rubbish ratings will do that.

HB is contracted to Channel4 so that is not going to happen.

Anthony Worrell Thompson?

AWT would be an absolute joke. He must be confined to breakfast/afternoon tv.

James is okay, but nothing exciting. His puddings are top though. He's not HK material though!

John Burton Race would be all right, if he hadn't been on Britain's Best Dish/Taste The Nation every day!

Yeah, he is, but he's quite insane and often makes for funny viewing, especially the demonic facial expression! He is also quite a good chef, and has a Michelin star, whereas James Martin/AWT don't.

If he were never to appear on tv again I, for one, would be very happy.
I think he just looks scruffy, dirty and unkempt. That "thing" round his head looks minging. Absolutely no wonder Danielle's little girl sniffed it.
I would imagine there are more well groomed people sleeping rough on the streets of London.
He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near food..all that hair and "bits" hanging all over the place !!
If you went into a flamin' chippy and saw something similar serving behind the counter you'd surely leave pretty da*n quick...know I would !!

Why, you ask, do I watch HK ?
Loved it when Gordon was there. Now I watch to see the celebs but think it has been very poor this time mainly because of MPW's feeble attempts to be menacing and his blatant favouritism !!

APPLAUSE , APPLAUSE , I WILL MISS YOU MARCO, DOES THIS MEAN WE GET GORDON RAMSEY THEN?.

Marco had a team
Oh they were keen
Jodie made a escape
Claudia run the tape
Bruce asked to go
TV was at a low
Grant bowled out
Anthea had a shout
Nioma had a scare
Aid gives a stare
Dannielle looks her best
Linda does the rest.

I love James Martin ...but he's not "hellish" enough for the Kitchen.
Rosemary Shrager would be good. She's very domineering.

If Marco was filthier than a London tramp, I'm sure at some stage they'd have been severe outbreaks of nasty diseases and sickness bugs.

More by luck than design I suspect !
Look what happened at The Fat Duck and not a hair in sight from Blumenthal (sp?)
I wouldn't eat FOC at Marco's !

Heston I must admit Milly what's that show when he was brought in to change Little Chef and change the whole menu, that was commercial to watch because the actual customers prefered the main menu. I think Heston had a whole new variety, but king kong himself in charge thought otherwise. What was the series called? anyone.

And if anyone was to treat me to a meal at Marco's I'd say politely.."Thank you...but no thank you"

You wouldn't eat Marco's food? I'm sure his kitchens are pretty clean, and I'm also pretty sure you'll have eaten from a dirty kitchen at some stage in your life

His kitchens may be spotless... but WHO is hovering over the food at the pass ??
I, most certainly, may have eaten from a dirty kitchen. Most people will have at some point. But whenever I go into an eatery I take precautions. Does the place look clean? Do the staff look clean? Marco would throw up a red flag every time !!
