As much as I'd like new Foos stuff as well, Dave's mrs has just had a baby and Taylor's mrs is due shortly. Also, Dave said after the Wembley gigs last year that they were going to take a good while off as they havent seen their families properly for so long. I reckon it will be next year at least before we get new Foo Fighters stuff unfortunately.

Didn't realise Florence and the Machine were releasing an album this year- will be buying that. Also looking forward to Kasabian.

Babyshambles should be releasing a new album in November so I can't wait for that!

she used to release an album each year, and I think she's been in the studio since bye bye flopped (and the rest) she's always updating on twitter and has said the albums close to finish.

What do you think of Pete's solo stuff?

I really like it, especially Lady Dont Fall Backwards, Arcady, Last of the English Roses, Sheepskin Tearaway and Broken Love Song. Its a really easy album to listen to and has some beautiful songs. Also, I'll always have a soft spot for solo Peter because I went to see him a few weeks ago and it was just him and his guitar for 2 and half hours and it was incredible- the guy is amazing live!

According to Mr Ficek everything is going well so hopefully the album will be delivered on time! On a personal note I hope they include another of Peter Wolfe's songs on the album- theres an unnoticed talent if ever there was one!

I saw him play a solo acoustic set at The Rhythm Factory a while back. Such an intimate venue and such a fantastic gig. He played so many Libs songs, I was in 7th heaven!

Golden Silvers have just released an album (True Romance). I saw them at Camden Crawl and at the Rough Trade store the other day. they're absolutely brilliant.

And no, I haven't really heard Mik's stuff, but I'll definitely give it a listen...
