"It's interesting because when you're in there you haven't got a clue what's being said about you," he says.

Well, you know now, Granty.

"I was being encouraged by Marco to develop into a leader in the kitchen when he wasn't around but, eventually, that became my downfall.

"It's interesting, the psychology of Marco. He's somewhere between a genius and a madman. He's very difficult to understand.

"I don't think he was threatened by me but clearly there was something he didn't like. It's his kitchen."

Erm, you're right. We don't think Marco was threatened by your presence either, old chap

"I think Anthea is in with a good shout now," he says

Well .... thankfully Marco thought differently.

I thought both he and Anthea worked very hard in the kitchen.

They came across as pompous, smug as well as bossy. I liked her slightly more than Grant, until I saw the episode where she had a bust up with Jody and even though I couldn't stand him either (for different reasons) she really irritated me beyond belief with her headmistressy, holier than thou attitude.

So glad they are gone.
