Lorriane.

Can't understand why everyone thinks she's so rubbish and why she's so hated?
Alright Apple Sue wasn't exactly a great idea but it was just a brainstorm and she understood why Pantsman was so bad. At least it shows she's not a yes woman.

Lorraine. Philip really got on my nerves during the last episode- one of those people that behaves like an aggressive *** and spins it into a virtue by calling it "passion".

Lorraine.

Seriously , the whole backlash against her is rather overrated , other than just moaning too much she has't been that bad , although I don't think she's very able as a candidate.

Lorraine.

Phillip has been negative almost every single week (except week 3, to be fair to him). Lorraine was only negative when she believed there was something to be negative about, and not just for the sake of it. She was definitely OTT, but they both were.

Out of the two, Lorraine.

Lorraine was only negative in the last episode because she had damned good reason to be negative.

It's okay for Alan Sugar to be negative about a crap idea so why is it wrong for Lorraine to feel the same way about the same crap idea?
It's hypocritical for Alan Sugar to pour scorn over a rubbish idea but to then condemn a contestant for feeling the exact same thing.

I'm not saying that she's my favourite contestant because I don't like the manner in which she cut Philip off, she can seem very up herself at times. But I prefer her over Philip by a long way because I think Philip has a hell of a lot more negative traits than she does to the point I just wouldn't want to work with him at all.

I like Philip's ability to take risks, but would like it to be coupled with Lorraine's more measured approach, and I'd like both of them to have some of Yasmina's efficiency and Kate's way of being positive.

Does that help? Non

Lorraine was right to be negative, but not to keep going on about it. She made her point, tried again, and then that should have been enough to show that she had tried to intercede, but that the responsibility for the task was the PM's.

Although she didn't want to see the video again in the boardroom, I suspect that may have been more to do with the fact that she was in it, and didn't want to see herself on screen jumping about madly with a pair of pants on over her clothes.

Love to hate Philip, so he's good TV, but I'd definitely prefer to work with Lorraine. They both whinge, but he's constantly raising his voice and getting frustrated with people.

Lorraine as both a person and a candidate.

If Sugar were to hire anyone as divisive as Philip who actually thinks that a pants related theme is a good thging for a food product I can't see him having any credibility left.

Philip. What did Loraine offer for the last 5 episodes? Nothing.

Episode 1: She was in the subteam that came back with the least amount of money and lost the task.

Episode 2: Can't remember!!

Episode 3: Didn't want to go with a winning idea and wanted to push another idea (that wasn't even hers) and could have lost Debra the task if they listened to her. Also her presentation skills were awful!!!

Episode 4: Can't remember !!

Episode 5: Moaning about philip's idea (again) without offering an alternative.

Does anyone spot a pattern? At least Philip offers something.

Blimey - what a question.

Which would you prefer - herpes or gonorrhea?

I'd prefer never to have contact with either thank you very much.

THis is a hard one as their both awful. What good did Lorraine's negativity do except drain people's energy? She was not assertive at all when they were deciding on their main idea, regardless of Phillips behaviour, she should have been more vocal, and her idea for the cereal was rubbish anyway. She should have got on with the task instead of constantly being negative, like James did when he saw that rubbish exercise box. And Phillip, he was a total immature bully pushing his idea through, and as he's an estate agent this put me off further.

However I'll choose phillip over lorraine as i thought the cereal killer idea was funny.

I hate Philip, such an idiot. I can't believe someone nice like Kate is linked with him!

But I like Lorriane - but she does change her accent now and again.

What has Phillip done?

Episode 1: Ignored Howard's instructions by doing the interiors of the cars, then went into a strop when Howard reprimanded him.

Episode 2: His pitch was terrible, saying the'd get the same amount for £15 a head as they would £60, effectively slashing 75% off the profit.

Episode 3: Granted, he did well here.

Episode 4: Behaved unhelpfully, ungentlemanly and disrespectfully in the design room, and then didn't apprear to sell anymore than any of the others, really.

Episode 5: Forced through a horrible idea, shot down/ mocked Lorraine's as soon as he heard it, argued with Lorraine throughout the day, and when the team lost the task partly because of an idea he came up with, he tried to lick Kim's arse to save his own neck, and when that didn't work, he attacked Kim and Lorraine in the most conceited manner possible.

So on 4 out of 5 tasks, he's basically been nothing but hot air.

I agree.
She does nothing but moan and he's far too cocky.
Also the friction between them is not even entertaining.

See, I'm not sure about this. If someone offers a pile of cr*p and someone else offers nothing, why is the pile of cr*p so much better? At least with nothing you don't have anything to clear up...

Not necessarily true.

If Philip hadn't come up with has pants idea they would have had to come up with something else.

At the moment they lose on idea, packaging and win on ad.

Had they been forced to come up with something else it might have struck a chord with the client and the balance could have changed.

By coming up with a series of totally crap ideas and being so overbearing in pushing, at the very least, the last one forward, Philip stifled any creativity.
