I'd have to say Lorraine at present time. I don't like how Phil behaves when he has an idea and immediately thinks 'it's his way or the high way'. He shouts and comes across as intimadating and like a child who throws their toys out of the pram when he doesn't get his own way. He is happy to mock other people's ideas but shouts and screams when people question him.

Lorraine does seem to be negative but most of the time, she is in the right. In the first task, she was the only one to bring up the fact of costing and said that they would have to clean loads of cars before they even break even. She knew pants man was a pants idea (her's wasn't much better but out of the two - I would have gone with hers) Task 3 - her presentation skills weren't fab but she must have done something right because they got a huge order.

I don't think either should or will win but they both amusing to watch for me.

Thanks very much. She says it was her who had the idea. It's good to hear they weren't arguing the whole morning.

much prefer Lorraine - I think she was unfairly maligned last week

I totally empathised with her because there is no way I could have got behind such a terrible idea

Philip is just a moron I'm afraid - no redeeming features whatsoever

If you use some imagination you can take it further by simply reducing the characters to names and making up a focus character.

Or maybe amalgamating them to make one character made of fruit. Or a character that likes the fruit but doesn't have time to get the ingredients then the discovers the cereal.

There are a million ideas that you could use to take Lorraine's starting point and match it to the client brief.

There's not much that you can do with an idea based on a garment that is associated with lavatory humour.
I can't understand why people find this so hard to understand. Lorraine's idea could have been adapted and taken in lots of different directions that did fit the client brief. It was a starting point from which the theme could be developed.

However, we didn't get that far because someone shouted it down before she even got going. The same someone whose Pantsman idea was one of the worst things I've ever seen on The Apprentice. I will never understand what he was thinking, or what Kim was thinking when she let him take off with it. If I were a project manager, I'd have welcomed 'Apple Sue' with open arms if my alternative was 'Pantsman'.

After all that, I don't really care for either Lorraine or Philip.

I prefer Philip, although he is very arrogant and irritating. But Lorraine is pretty dull and seems to lack creativity
