She didn't seem to take it very well that he'd forgotten her surname did she It's OK though because I didn't know it either ... as she's not really a celebrity in the true sense of the word. She's just known for being the trophy girlfriend of an ageing ex-footballer who advertises crisps!

It's a pity as mid-week she was really growing on me but then she changed. All of a sudden she got a bit big headed and in the UK we tend not to like that sort of showing off Others are supposed to tell you you're good - you shouldn't prompt them into saying it or brag yourself that your dessert (sorry, pudding!) looked the best OR that Marco wouldn't be able to cope without you at the pass OR that everyone else would miss you because you're here, there and everywhere in kitchen

She let herself down badly.

Never mind the surname, I had no idea who she was when I first saw her and can't say I've ever heard of her.

I thought Danielle's interview with Claudia was very awkward, not because of Claudia but because Danielle did not seem to know what to do. When her getting annoyed over the name/trifle clip was shown she seemed very uncomfortable and looked as though she was trying to backtrack. Perhaps she realised her behaviour showed her in a diva mode, and you can only get away with being a diva if you are a star. Shame she went downhill as I started to like her midweek, in spite of her tenuous grip on the celebrity tag.

My feelings exactly. I really like her up until yesterday and then that whole diva act got on my nerves. Marco was just annoyed with her for her simpery and unimaginative 'I don't even like trifle' - which given he has just chosen it for his menu, is a bit rude. What a sulky moo.

I would have called it Danielle's Delightful Trifle.

When Marco asked her what she wanted to name the trifle, I immediately thought she'd name it after her little girl... although on the other hand, I suppose it's not surprising she wouldn't name a dish she doesn't like after her daughter.

the whole time its come across as she as teachers pet and on her last show, he dares to disrespect her - bet she was well gutted.

she's had an easy ride thru this:

best sauce: danielle

best dish: danielles lamb kidneys

best pudding: danielles trifle

just made up to see the back of her tbh and i bet she thought she was in the final.
