iPod Touch has changed to $!

Ok, I have 2 computers, I only use it on 1, and sometimes charge it on the other. The other kept prompting me to use iTunes 8 (which I ignored because I only use it for charging). The other day I had to download 8 or else it wouldn't let me use it whilst charging. So I did. But now iTunes and App store has changed to the American one! But iTunes on the computer is the UK store. Can any one give us a hand?

Thanks.

You need to deselect the option that says to start up itunes when you connect the ipod to the other computer.

As for the American store issue have you tried logging into the American one? It may then realise your account location and then switch it back to the UK one.

iTunes 8 is very nice so the download is a good thing. The genius feature tied to the store works fantastically at finding and recommending music based on your what you already have in your library.

Sync when logged into the UK store and that should switch it, that's what I do.

easy thing to do is to go to the store home and go down to the bottom and change the country.
