I hope Gary doesn't live to regret marrying Danielle, you know what they say " There's no fool like an old fool"

As the article said Danielle left her boyfriend when he had used all of his ill gotten gains and refused to update her BMW for a soft top, isnt it likely that she may, just may be with Lineker for the dosh.
![]() He was found guilty of twelve counts of furnishing false information and obtaining money by deception and yet for some reason some people seem to be taking his word as the gospel truth. Isn’t there at least the distinct possibility that this is yet more false information being “furnished”. It wouldn’t exactly be out of character if it was would it? Personally, I’ll retain my scepticism with regard to the matter rather than accept at face value the word of someone convicted for crimes of dishonesty. |

I'm no fan of the bux but why on earth anyone would give the guy's story any credence is beyond me!
He sounds like a spineless idiot who obviously is incapable of keeping a girlfriend unless he throws money at her. |

I wouldn't be surprised if GL were to be, in retrospect seen as a small stepping-stone for this young lady.
She already has a travel show now coming up. Once she can get TV gigs on her own, what does she need a washed out footballer for at her age? Apart from alimony ![]() Much bigger fish to fry in the celeb stakes - once she gets her footing on telly. |

she is just high-maintenance and sees that pretty women can get rich blokes to indulge them - fact of life, I'm afraid. Lineker is well-liked and well-paid. the bloke in the article was stupid, like most of us blokes are. he was just a bit more stupid than average, because she is a bit prettier than average.
he doesn't even try to blame her really, he just blames that situation, which is not the same thing. a bit sad that he wan't man enough for her to want him for what he was, not what he pretended to be. pretty or not, a gold-digger is not a great investment and if that's what she is and you aint got a gold-mine, find somebody more suitable. |

Wow what alot of Danielle hatred.
I'm no fan of "footballers girlfriends" who are all a certain type i.e. golddiggers and maybe she's no different. But they actually came across as a nice couple on The One Show last week. Marriages break up all the time - nobody knows but Lineker and his ex-wife as to why. And everybody moves on to new partners if they so wish. Has his ex-wife got a new partner? I know celebs are easy targets for people to judge their relationships. Gary has a right to choose a new partner and if they're happy then let them be happy for goodness sake. Divorce and affairs happen out here in the real world too, people get hurt, but we don't all have to live it out in the press do we? I don't think it's right for him to leave his wife and children no, far from it, but everyone has to move on from it and I can't imagine he has let his children suffer more than necessary - he doesn't come across as that sort of person. And I quite liked Danielle in HK (and i was prepared to dislike her from the off) but seems I'm in a minority. |
