McDonalds stickers
I never win anything good!
By anything good, I mean an instant win. They don't put the stickers on the meal boxes anymore, either. Waste of time. Whats the best thing you have won/got from these stickers? |

I've never won anything in the past. HMV stickers all that sort of thing and then I was in there today with my mum and she said you should see what the stickers are so I peeled them off.
And blow me if one of them wasn't a chicken sandwich. The one and only thing other than egg mcmuffin that i eat in there. Just going to have to manage to some how keep it safe and be able to fid it next time i go in there. they're so bloody fiddly that it'll probably get stuck in the corner of my purse or something. I went to a different resturant to my normal one today and had to pay for the food and i had no idea how much anything cost as I'm still using up the vouchers that they hand out on the trays that as a regular i used to get a lot of and one time one of my friendly asistents gave me a book of them and they're still accepting the ones dated until 31st december 2007. the meal is costing £1.99 the same as the vouchers that when they do give them out these days it still is so I'd nearly thrown them away one time and the assistent said to me dont do that, noone looks at the date we just enter it in as a voucher. And to date even with people I've never been to before my 18 month out of date vouchers have never been questioned. Matter of interest. How much is a medium chicken sandwich meal these days. If what I paid today for me and mum is anything to go by when my vouchers finally run out I think i might have to stop going. |

I think thres quite a lot of the prepaid visa cards around, my mum saw someone win one the other day.
In t he past they had much more in the way of hmv vouchers or cars etc but if you think about it give someone a prepaid visa card and they're likely to go on spending after its run out so will increase the spending rate and of course end up getting them into debt as that games machine and dvd player you bought with the big tv on the prepaid card is going to need feeding with dvd's and games cartridges now and you'll have to pay for them yourself. |

We don't visit McDonalds very often - probably once or twice a year on average - didn't know what to make of the stickers - usually when travelling and there's no alternative.
Regarding prepaid VISA card I thought you could only spend what you put on the card - like a pay-as-you-go mobile phone, so there is no risk of debt? I've got the PayPal one - extortionate transaction fees, though - not just on the PayPal one - all of the ones I've looked at. Steve. |
