I hope he doesn't

I listen to Chris every morning and he is brilliant!! I also listen to his podcasts constantly and they are great!!

I actually couldn't imagine my mornings without him.

I for one really enjoy his show, and it would be ashame to lose him. To be honest, with the ratings his show gets, I highly doubt the BBC would let him go.

He definitely has a good face for radio, I wish he'd get off TV.

As a dj I don't see the appeal tbh but maybe I'm not meant to , just peddles mainstream major label rubbish doesn't he ?

Well, if he goes, I might be able to listen to Radio 1 in the morning

He's nowhere near as funny as he thinks he is.

But he's very popular, so I can't see him being pushed out

He's in the same class as Ant and Dec and Jonathan Ross; very overrated.

He just signed a new contract until July 2010, so keep on moaning.

As soon as he leaves Radio 1, that will be it for me, he's the only one I listen too now.

7 Million listeners like him, so Radio 1 won't dare risk losing those numbers.

It was in the papers at the end of last week, it was on the DS front page for a while.

No and he never will, he said the same himself last week.

Between Wogan and Moyles that's 17 million listeners, not bad really.

The millions listening to Wogan in nursing homes across the land can't get up to change over the channel themselves. Hence his higher figures.

Oh this thread really should be in the radio forum. Lazy arsed mods can't be bothered to move it.

Ah, I see. I don't think he actually signed a new contract though, in fact, I'm pretty sure he didn't, he was just talking himself up as usual.

I noticed that, when the story first went up it said he had signed, now it says he is going to sign.

I really can't see him leaving before he beats the record for longest serving breakfast DJ in September.

I stopped listening to Radio 1 because of him so I don't care if he stays or goes but I would rather that he went. He's not funny at all..and I don't care if 7 million people listen to him....quantity isn't the best measure of how good something is.
