I've never heard of anyone developing nut allergy as an adult but you'll know about it if it happens; some allergies do come in on adulthood but I think maybe that's to do with exposure - my sister developed an allergy to white cheeses in her twenties and my boyfriend developed an allergy to asparagus (similar symptoms to nut allergy so a bit scary) about 5 years ago. I'd think if you've been having them for a bit you'll be ok though.

Humans can develop allergies to anything at any time in their lives.
