What a feel-good-moment that was when Linda's name was announced?!

Great result, but a shame it all seemed so rushed at the end. I'd love to have heard from Linda and taken in her (and everybody else's) reaction properly.

I wish they had done away with the half hour "catch up" show earlier, and shown the first half of the 9 o'clock show then - then we could have had a proper interview with Linda and all the other celebs. It was really rushed at the end

I liked Linda and wanted her to win up until tonight but Ade really did do the better job in the end. I think he should have won, although I'm very happy for Linda.

Linda did win the cooking challenge earlier in the day, and had she had as much practice on the pass as Ade had, she might have coped better when in charge of service.

I love Linda but she wasn't in charge of the pass, Anthea was. She's a wonderful woman but Ade should have won IMO, it is a cooking show after all.

It's called teamwork - Linda, Bruce and Anthea made a good team.

Say what you like about Anthea she works damned hard - unlike those whingers on Ade's team.

Niomi who could eat the fish, but couldn't kill it and Danielle - "I want to work with you Marco" - Bux.

Did you watch the show?

Ade's team finished first and scored higher marks.

It was more like Big Brother this year. Usually, the contestants have a cooking class in the morning and they rotate sections during service. This enables them to develop their skill.

It's not Linda's fault she was never allowed to run the pass and was stuck on crab the entire two weeks!

So I'm glad she wasn't penalised for it by the voters.

I was back to liking Anthea tonight!

I much preferred Linda's team - they worked their socks off and had a wonderful spirit about them.

Yes I did - fortunate for Niomi that fish wasn't on the menu; as for Danielle what did she do.

The GBP knows the difference between someone who has been put at a disadvantage (Linda) and someone who got that important bit of experience in (Ade).

Long live the GBP - long live Linda.

I seen her do the mash and the eggs. She done the dressing.
I wanted Linda to win but at the end I realised she was not as good as Ade. Still loved Linda as she was such a lovely woman.

No offence lucy - but eggs, mash and dressing - I could do that with one hand tied behind my back and I certainly wouldn't need tuition from a michelin starred chef.

Unlike Ade, Linda had no experience on the pass, so she did what all good managers do - she delegated.

Woohoo Linda.

Tell that to Grant.

I don't think she was that bad as Ade wouldn't have picked her. Her and Ade were probably the most creative chefs as they won most of the challenges. Linda is such a great person I hope she gets some work over here and we get to see more of the lovely Linda.

Ello sexy *mwah*

The GBP fell in love with Linda, it was hard not to, even if she wasn't quite as good in the kitchen as Ade. But that's why we have a public vote and don't just ask Marco to pick the winner....

To be honest, even Naomi admitted that Danielle's main role was to dress the plates. No wonder she loved working up front - it was a doddle compared to the hard slog that went on behind her.

Bless you - I wish I was as nice as you.

I didn't notice much creativity - she spent most of her time under Marco's protective wing - as for winning the challenges, cynic that I am - teachers pet is writ large in my mind.

I think the voting lines had closed before they announced which team had won so that couldn't have influenced the votes.

Seemed a bit daft that the ending where Linda won was rushed and she was not even given an interview.............they were both briefly interviewed with their best bits when most of the diners were not even watching, halfway through the programme But well done to Linda - not the best cook but the public loved her.
