No spoliers. I just want to say that the Season 6 final was very satisfying. Congratulations to the winner. You deserved it!

i'm tempted to "obtain" Season 6 you know. I've got a funny feeling that ITV will wait until next year before screening it, so if they do another two seasons in the states, they'll be on season 8 while we're not even on S6.
and for that length of time, the chances of stumbling across the winner are too great as well - i'd rather get it now and watch it i guess. |

Unbelievable .. I'm totally hacked off ..
I innocently read the spoiler three posts back to this assuming it was about season 5 currently showing on ITV. I was rather confused when the "well done" didn't actually mention the winner's name but thought nothing of it as I just assumed the poster had gotten it wrong. Literally about 2 minutes ago the penny dropped and I realised that I had, in fact, read a "well done" message to the winner of Season 6 - that I haven't seen yet. I guess this is somewhat of a first - out of all the five seasons shown so far, i've had 3 of them spoilt by the DS forums, so to have a series spoilt before I've even watched it is fairly original .. |

Perhaps next season you should 'obtain' the episodes as they come out in the US!
![]() I enjoyed Season 6 as a whole but not sure how they can keep up with 'NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN HELL'S KITCHEN!!!111' moments, especially since another 2 seasons have already been confirmed!! |

I feel your pain. I hate getting things spoiled for me. However, the clue is in the title of the thread and i did tag it and it was after the episode had aired. just avoid the word

You did tag it I know, but the thread doesn't say US pace or UK pace either - and the bulk of the previous posts have been about the UK pace.

Im guessing that revealing the winner is ok now as its just been aired at UK pace too.
I made sure that I avoided any spoilers so I could watch it without knowing who won but a little disappointed with the winner. Dont get me wrong, I thought Danny performed very well throughout the competition and obviously has excellent culinary skills but IMO Paula was a more accomplished all round chef. And it may interest some people to read the following (what happened after Hell's Kitchen) http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle...e_borgata.html I have to admit I think its pretty disgusting, Danny may have taken it well but it was the main premise of the show. No-one was amazed by the monetary prize, it was all about the Borgata and that story makes interesting reading. |

I too was very disappointed with the winner.
I thought Paula was a much better all rounder and deserved it far more. Really enjoyed the whole series though, it was easily as good as the UK one, sometimes much better. |

I knew from fairly early on that these two would go far in the competition. It was fairly obvious throughout that Paula was the best femal chef in competition and along with Ben I thought Danny would do well. Did not mind either way who won so happy all round.
Disappointed that Danny didnt get the prize her deserved at Borgata but as he said he can learn a lot from the head chef that his working for. |

Thanks for the link to the article - interesting, and I wonder if it would have been different had Paula won?
I thought she should have, but had a sneaking suspicion Danny would. Both worthy winners though. |

It's back if anyone's interested in seeing the Ramsay's veins popping out of his face and screaming at a bunch of idiots. (I'm watching
)(That's US pace btw) |

I am also enjoying the latest series (though I miss the UK "unbleeped" version).
I Think that it must be sponsored by Marlbro this year as it looks like every contestant smokes! God knows how they can taste anything. |

Is anyone else bored to tears with this season? It's the same thing every episode "Get out you Donkey!!!!". It's become very stale and tired for me all of a sudden.

I too must confess to being a little bit 'meh' about this years crop of no-hopers, the fact that one of them will become the Head Chef at the Savoy Grill when it re-opens in October astounds me since they all seem a bit rubbish! - especially when you compare them to Padma's recent crop on Top Chef - who do seem to be more 'Chef-y' as opposed to looking like a reasonable set of contestants for Masterchef.

Must admit I'm not impressed with some of their cooking skills - how hard is it to spot that the meats not cooked properly when you slice it?
Must still be popular in the USA as season 8 is set to start on the 22nd September (2 hour premier). |

I've made it to the final episode of S7 next week without the result being spoilt for once, so i'm quite happy.
I've also found myself fast forwarding a lot of the second half of the show lately, as the service just seems to consist of the contestants screwing up, ramsey shouting at them and repeat until fade. i'd ideally like hollie to win, and not because i fancy her ![]() (and no, none of that post should be constituted as a request for the result, a clue about the result or even a thought about the result - tagged or untagged. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW !!!!! )

Me too. Managed to resist looking at Wiki for the entire series so don't know who will win. Both candidates deserve to be in the final - tough call to choose who will win.
