We cannot find a particular forum about BT as they were about Virgin and cable but our internet connection is very slow.
It comes and goes and turns itself off.
When we try and access various sites the little search circle goes round and round but cant find the site and it hangs my OH says it may be "dropouts!?!"
Does anyone know of a BT phone number where you can speak to someone in the uk about our phone/internet connection all we get are overseas operators who just tell us to unconnect and reconnect everything!
We have changed to different computers and it still doesnt speed up.
Have we got a virus???

There's something on the website about ongoing network problems but they reckon they've resolved it now (scroll down): http://help.btinternet.com/yahoo/help/servicestatus

I know my internet was crawling and the two speed tests I did had it at about 1.5MB max Usually over 5MB

Hi f1honeybunny,

Sorry your connection keeps dropping out. I know the pain that this can cause!

There are a couple of things you can do to try and isolate the speed problem such as taking your router and plugging it in directly into the test socket to see if it makes a difference to the speed. Drop outs can occur naturally.

Take a look through our help and support pages here and see if they make any difference:

Let me know how you get on and if you want I can drop you a PM with my details and get this looked into in a bit closer.

Cheers
