OMG! I wouldn't have put it like that.

I wouldn't say all ladies hate her for that reason but I do believe there is a lot who didn't like because of this. She did nothing wrong and did well in the challenges but is still disliked. I noticed it when people would slag of her looks but would not slag of anyone elses looks which is what some women do when they are a little bit jealous.
She was in a no win situition from the start but she did real well.

I certainly never hated her but couldn't say I was mad about her either. I didn't say anything about her looks, that would be stupid as whichever way you look at it she's a good looking girl who is going to stand out in a crowd. I also thought she was a hard worker in the kitchen but patted herself on the back a bit too much for doing it And her huff when Marco forgot/didn't know her surname was a bit much, it's hardly like she's a household name is it? And I don't think she would have done it if Marco had still been doing the sackings as she spent her time crawling round him up until then - very easily done mind as he had her next to him almost the whole time

There are other reasons why people might not take to someone other than being 'jealous bitches'! For all you know some of the people slagging her off might be stunning

But unfortunately I have to concede that you may be right sometimes - some women can be right bitches

I can't say I find Danielle attractive, because I don't - her mouth is horrible and that's not her fault. But she isn't ugly by any means. I personally think Ms Dynamite is far better looking.

However, Danielle seems like a really nice girl and she put in 100% effort over the two weeks. So what's not to like?

That pretty much sums up how I feel too. I actually quite liked her, but the things you mentioned above were indeed annoying. I don't think comments on her looks are always about jealousy either. She is a model. Her job relates to her looks. Therefore people will comment on it. It is no different from the people that remarked Jodie was not a good actor, or they did not find Ade funny. Nothing to do with jealousy, just relevance of profession. If she does not want to be judged upon her looks, or have people remark upon them, maybe she could do a different job?

I would tend to agree with you about the model thing but it happened on here to Diana X Factor (not a model) Steph BB9, Sara BB9, Jennifer BB9 (not a model at the time) judged on their looks.

You're right. I think people focused on her looks more because she's a model, a job which is all about how you look so people are going to comment on it! It might have been the same if a male model had went in there, some people thinking he wasn't much to look at and others thinking he was gorgeous It's human nature isn't it?

I think it is human nature, yes. I would accept criticism of my professional ability in relation to my job. I see no point in models complaining about being judged on their looks, given that they have chosen to make their looks their primary asset.

yes there were one or two "anti"Danielle posters slating her quite often and i think they were female but thats not many.
I think Danielle has had quite a positive response.sympathetic actually with GL lurking round every night.
I remember having to defend Aisleyne during BB7 a couple of years back on here..that got very nasty.i didnt see Danielle getting that kind of flak..maybe if shed cooked in a bikini though.

Gender doesn't come into it - my main gripes against Danielle were;

She isn't plain, nor unattractive but in the High Street I'd be surprised if many people looked at her twice. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.

She just a total attention seeker. When she WAS put at the back she spent the time complaining that she felt 'out of it' and didn't like it. So stupid Marco put her back at the front I'm a fan of Marco's but I think he was wrong, wrong, wrong to do that. It deprived other people of the opportunity to do the pass, as you said.

How did she think people like Linda and Bruce felt being stuck at the back and not getting a chance up front? Totally selfish behaviour but it IS something that Marco could have put right by not falling for her 'little girl/no confidence' routine. He probably just wanted the pretty girl up front with him

i had never heard of danielle prior to h kitchen- as it was a show about celebrities ( apparently) i was a little bemused as to why she was there in the first place.

i just found her to be dull on screen - nothing more - dull dull dull

I and a lot of normal people thought she got upset because he was rude nothing to do with being a celeb. If someone had said that to me I wouldn't have stood for it as well but then again I am not perfect like some of you seem to be on here. I would hate to be so judgemental about everything you see on tv.
