The software version on my box says is HPRSFC 1.00.02 is this the latest software version?

According to Humax website the latest software version was released on the 7th Oct 2008 and the version is Version: HZPTSF 1.00.15 which would indicate to me that mine is an older version?....see link below

http://www.humaxdigital.com/freesat/...t_software.asp

Its set for auto updates and when trying a manual update it says there are no updates available, but there is a box asking for input of sat ref numbers which I have no idea what these are?

When I select the red button to watch a programme and choose one from the multi screen it wont let me manually record what I am watching, is this correct or is there something I need to do? ie can you manually go to the channel rather than using the red button, is there a hidden menu or something like that?....it says its channel 3001 but it says that dont exist if you tap it in manually, ie on freeview for bbc you can just go direct to the interactive channels (301 and 302) without having to use the red button.

When I am recording a program I cant delete a program that I have fully recorded until the programme that I am recording finishes, surely this should not be the case?

Many thanks in advance for any help / advice......

you are looking at the sw release for the HD box not the HDR box

1.00.02 is the current ota update

You can't record the red button streams

HZPTSF 1.00.15 is for FOXSAT-HD only and not for FOXSAT-HDR (freesat +).

Ah I did think that, but cant find the software updates for the HDR on their website, does anyone have a link?

So is HPRSFC 1.00.02 the latest one?.....will it update automatically or do you need it on a certain channel like the freeview pvr? (Humax9200)...

I did choose the correct product on their website but for some reason it only gives software updates for the HD box???

New boxes currently ship with 1.00.03 (which mine has). However, Bob_Cat stated this was just a very minor update (for testing issues, or something?), not a bugfix as such, so you shouldn't worry you're missing out.
