I like to have a sandwich with light white cheese, sliced gherkins and pickled beetroot and wholegrain mustard - my OH thinks I'm crazy but the strong clashing flavours with the mild cheese is really nice!

Again, not original, but you can't beat a fish finger, baked beans and ketchup sandwich.

I had a cheese & onion crisp and banana sandwich once as a late night snack as I enjoyed eating them seperately and thought why not mix them together.
I definitely won't be trying it again anytime soon! It tasted ok but the texture was horrible. |

BMC Sandwich - bacon / mushrooms / courgette
Dinner-wise I'm pretty conventional too...but I have the unusual habit of eating cottage / sheperd's pie or moussaka or lasagne (and various other pasta dishes) on toast. |

but nowadays, i would not eat them as cooked corn beef looks like a sloppy mess on a plate. but i used to love it piled on top of boiled white rice with baked beans on top. for dinner that is! lol

I used to slice up a granny Smith and put on a slice of buttered toast under the grill with a little brown sugar, and it would sort of caramelise and was yummy, I know it sounds vile.
