They're had quite a long break, but this new one is really growing on me.

Video is confusing, but I like it

It's crap. They're gradually getting worse. "Kasabian" was an awesome album. "Empire" was more miss than hit. This song is dull; so unoriginal and lifeless.

I just get the impression they're desperately trying to be a band like Oasis. They toured with them a lot I believe and it shows. I'm not saying they sound like Oasis, but I can sense some kind of influence. Not my cup of tea unfortunately.

^ Agree. Adore the first album, didn't find anything memorable on the second album, and that track off the new album in the link is quite a bore for Kasabian...

I agree with you as I don't get this song at all and I wonder where all the energy from their 1st brilliant album has gone?? I still haven't caught them live as I'm always working or recently sick and had to sell tickets. I know Fast Fuse is on the new album which is an absoloutely storming track but Fire is dull dull dull imho.

I really like that, I love the video too. I also love Tom's new hair and Serge remains one of the best looking men in rock. Great band IMO.

OT, but does anyone else remember this. This alone makes Sergio Pizzorno a legend!

I think they are really suffering since Karloff went - I've been seeing them live since the 2004 and I loved the first album but I thought Empire was mostly pants.

When they play live they really do bring a new dimension to their stuff - Fire sounds much better live and Vlad the Impailer is a monster

Gotta say I love it. I've always loved Kasabian anyway though, saw them at T in the Park 4 years ago and have been a massive fan since then.

Love Kasabian, but I was at first a little disappointed with this...however, its seriously grown on me and I love it now! Very 60's feel, imo. Great tune!

I think that's the problem with it. I got into Kasabian because songs like Club Foot and Processed Beats were a bit punchy, and added something else to the standard "indie" or 60s throwback style music. They seem to have lost the punch and gone for being safe with the "indie" crowd.

Empire did have some great tracks, such as Empire and Stuntman. I'll listen to the new album but I doubt I'll be buying it.

It's a shame because I thought I would really grow to love the band. It's just going the opposite way. Boo.

I heard this song a couple of times on Radio 1 recently. It just sort of passed me buy though, didn't really leave an impression.

But now having watched this video and listened full blast. I ****ING LOVE IT! Brilliant track!

Gonna play that video againandagain
