Can I ask if you are employed by the media in some way Sunday Sun?

Just curious.

Ooooh, I hadn't noticed that.

She beats my post count and I've been here since 2006.

If I may say so, it's hacked me off a bit.

16 threads on the front page you had the other day.
90% of them were just a title and a news article link.

Why do you insist we have to click a link to understand what your thread is actually about, and how come you offer no point of discussion or debate alongside

Fair enough I have just posting the news as I find it. I will take your comments on board... I didn't realise you were a mod

I am free to post what I like and I am not breaking any rules.

It might be easier if you just start a thread called "Links to Watch and Read About...(whichever programme you are posting links to)". That way all the links would be on one thread and people would know where to go to read or watch about that particular programme - rather than starting a new thread each time you find an article.

This works very well on the Strictly and DWTS forums.

Fair enough. I might do that in future.

Sunday Sun; I just wanted to offer you a bit of support. I appreciate your links and I can't understand sometimes why these forums are so damn hostile to newcomers. There's probably a conspiracy theory about everyone who isn't part of the clique - I don't know what they make of me who has made so few posts in such a long time.

I think it would be nice if the poster included a bit about their thoughts instead of just throwing a link in the first post and hitting post.

I've no problem with people sharing news stories, it's great.. but take a moment to add your opinion. That way it doesn't just feel like we're being spammed.

I like all of your links, Sunday Sun. It saves me having to search for them! And you generally add your opinions in after someone replies anyway!

Whatfreshhell in the bear-pit that is digital spy it's good to hear a voice of reason! Are you the one that had the veal on the Ventura? If so, so did I. Were you there in August? If you were did you see the woman he was with? I am surprised that it has never come out in the press as she is well known if you like the industry she is in!

No, that wasn't me, but I remember reading the thread where someone said that! However you have intrigued me now...

I know, I'm always a little despondent when minor things get picked on in forums! I see them as a written conversation, so as long as people aren't spamming or offending people etc, there shouldn't be any rules. I've found DS not too bad so far... so long as I stay huddled in the HK bit! I've only been brave enough to dip my toe into the other forums!

You've dipped your toes more times than me! You are clearly a brave person, (would love to do a smile face here but can't get the blinking thing to work!)

I've had experience from the Download festival forums- good heavens, they are terrifying ! For newbies, hostile doesn't even begin to explain it! My posts will slow considerably now though, since HK has finished!

Hmm, I have an idea of who you're talking about, and you're right, it matches up with his 'I've fallen in love for the first time' comments!

The thing is they were were very intimate even in public but I have never seen her name mentioned with his. It is all very strange but I know he is good friends with Piers Morgan so perhaps he is also friends with other newspaper folk and it has been kept quiet. To an observer it didn't look like just a fling - I wonder when it will become public?

His relationships are impossible to keep up with!!!

Last I can remember though, was that he wasn't with the one we're talking about anymore (he never revealed her name, just went on about falling in love!) but with a new vintage clothes dealer. That was December, but just before HK an article said he'd recently split up with a Swedish heiress...

I know! I'm not sure 'commitment' is ever an important factor in his relationships! Maybe he needs an 'everyday woman'!
