We see agressive characters like Debra every year, and they don't usually win. But I do like them if they're agressive for the right reasons. If they're doing it just to pick on people (like Jenny C) or for fame (like Katie) I don't like them.
But if they are agressive in a fair way, like standing up to stupid or arrogant people, usually team leaders (like Tre did with Rory, or Kristina did with Paul), or if they show a softer side later on (like Claire and Jadine), and if they say it how it is, then I like them. At least it shows they have some sense of honour.
Whatever you think of Debra, she does have that honourable streak - you have to admire her for putting herself forward for Ben to take her back into the boardroom instead of James. It's better than those who try to cover their arses and manipulate to stay out of the boardroom (i.e. Alex

). She was out of line with Nick though, but again, I did respect her for fighting her corner well. Hopefully she'll learn from that.
I also liked it how Debra stood up to Ben in the boardroom, and pointed out what an idiot he actually was. It reminded me of how the Badger sorted Mani out after he blamed her for going along with a bad marketing idea (which HE came up with!

), and how she sorted out Syed in the boardroom a few weeks later.
If Ben hadn't taken Noorul back in, Debra would have talked him into the ground for sure. I hope she's in the boardroom with him again so she can finish him off - and it would be good to see her crush Philip as well
