Very very funny scene from the Vicar of Dibley inspired thread.

Most of my life I've been a Flora girl, but one week we ran out and the OH bought some cheapy knock-off of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (It's actual name escapes me) from the corner shop and it were bloomin' loverly.

So as it was on offer the other week, in Tescos I bought the REAL I Can't Believe It's Not Butter...and it is rank! It's so salty and just unpleasant.

The cheap knock-off was actually the superior product. The question is WHAT is it actually called and can you buy it in supermarkets?

AAAAAAh... now I found that to be the case with the full fat I can't believe it's not butter, BUT the low fat version actually tastes like butter and is lovely. Strange but true !

No, cheaper than that. It's something ridiculous like "Heavens, it's not butter".

Oh ta LQS will try the low fat version.

OH I think that might be it TA! It was cheap and far better than the 'real' thing, IMO.

Ha, I can't taste any difference in any butter or margerines so whatever's in the fridge goes on my cobs/sarnies.
