Watching the apprentice it often occurs to me that some of the people they offload tat to have a serious grievance as there are countless examples of misrepresentation of goods.

Will anyone on these boards admit to having been sold to be an apprentice contestant and if so did the BBC catch up with you straight after to give you your money back and avoid a lawsuit?

On a related note, if you'd been approached by the teams from last night selling (for example) a new rug on the street, or a skeleton in a pub, would you not just assume it was nicked?

Not with the "thieves" being followed round by a camera crew!

No, because, as a general rule, thieves and others selling stolen goods do not have camera crews following them around as it tends to provide a lot of rather good evidence.

And they are usually not followed around by unamused elderly female lawyers known as Margaret!!

Seriously though, there was someone on here a couple of weeks ago who bought two bubble baths from Phillip. They used one and were selling the other on EBay.

Maybe that poster will come on again as I'm too lazy to go looking it up.
