anybody else actually like him? i don't particularly want him to win and i can see why people don't like him but he makes the show more enjoyable for me.

i know alot of people will disagree with me but does anyone agree?

I like Phillip too- at last he isn't taking himself seriously- and can laugh at himself

Debra is the one I cannot stand- she comes over deadfully

I don't like him at all. He loves himself way too much- he can only see his own opinion. I dislike Ben just as much, but for me, Ben is the funnier baddie.

yes, he does love himself but i think sometimes i'd be bored without him, he just makes me laugh when he's being so arrogant

footygirl, i don't particularly like debra either, she hasn't done anything to make me like her.

I'd have fired her last night for shouting at Nick- but Sir Alan wont do it- what does he see in her- she'd be a disaster as an employee- she'd always be arguing

I cannot abide him - the way he dismissed the rug really showed him up - and I am a rug-obsessive so this one bugged me - having said that, he does make me feel emotionally involved as I love to hate a good baddie, and Ben (the other baddie) is slightly less obnoxious than he used to be which is disappointing.

That is a bit harsh- Phillip is not a baddie. Debra is the bad apple in this bunch

I think he takes himself too seriously. He doesn't want to hear opinions or suggestions from anyone else.

Totally agree on Debra.

I wouldn't like to see either of them win but they make things interesting at this stage.

I wouldn't mind Phillip winning, but why oh why did Sir Alan not take the chance to get shot of Debra after her behaviour in the boardroom

I think he is, he comes across as very obnoxious, controlling and unable to hear the points of views of others. Debra is equally dislikable, I agree, but more capable imho.

I think it is because he likes Debra and sees potential. She reminds me of Claire from last year. Claire was very vocal at times and told her to tone it down and she did and eventually got to the final.

Glad to hear it - she has kind of passed me by....but come to think of it she is a bit of a cheeky one - I'll be watching more carefully next week.

Debra has not toned it down though- she was just as stroppy as week one

If she does get fired I'd like to see her up against Michelle Moan on You're Fired- OOooh that would be worth seeing

How the hell has Ben not been fired yet

I reckon it was a good opportunity to get rid of Noorul who is a nice guy but was really out of his depth. Plus I think he keeps in the more outspoken characters for longer.

What for extra humiliation you mean

I'd have had no hesitation in firing Debra last night-she was rude beyond belief

Exactly! I think he likes to take them down a peg or two. Mind you he did that last night I think (although I doubt that we'll see any change in either of them next week).

I would have been quite happy for Debra to go last night too. I don't like the way she deals with people in general.

She is in danger of falling into that mouth of hers- it's as big as the Channel Tunnel

Still - empty vessels....

I really liked Phillip at first but he is becoming increasingly arrogant. He is so stroppy. Jesus, I thought I was impatient

He's still hot though but I would have to gag him first now

I liked him as well for the first few weeks. But he has gone way down in my estimation in the last two tasks. He was like a spoiled child last week with his stupid pants.

I thought that Philip took the fact that Lorraine had made the right call about the rug well after the board room. He dealt with something that could have become even more awkward with humour and reasonable grace. He is ok, just over enthusiastic and over confident.

He had no choice but to be gracious - he had made a total tit of himself and if he had looked sulky, he would have looked even worse.

His strategy was to take it on the chin and in the end he was downright sickening - nah!, I still cannot stand the guy.

He had to - Siralan made a point of sticking up for Lorraine which highlighted just how wrong Philip was. He then tried to laugh it off without actually apologising properly to Lorraine which is what his behaviour warranted. He knew he was lucky not to end up in that boardroom. If he had, Lorraine would have amde mincemeat of him and rightly so.

Philip's problem is that he thinks he is this year's tottie.
he's not-he's a skinny eejit with half a cupcake for a brain.

You're right - he is deluded in that department - very prematurely aged in the face and a bit of a pillock to boot!
