If I hear that name again I think my head will explode

How many times must Mona make a toast to Cassandra?

It was once wasn't it?

Clue: Stop playing that section of the programme over and over again.

Knowing Mona she would make the toast and then carefully explain to everyone exactly who Cassandra was and the significance is

Again, once, but it was in context there.

I just wonder why people are obsessing over a couple of references to a quite amusing piece of the programme.

Do you think she'd have time? Won't she be busy explaining that she's making toast, and describing how it's made by heating bread. She'd also need a detailed description of the round, disc like object that she's placing the toast on - with a quick reminder that without it the toast would fall on to the carpet (the flat thing below their feet).

By the time she's finished her Powerpoint presentation on the key features of the sharp, flat piece of metal used to 'cut' the bread, do you think she'll have time to add anything about Cassandra?

'as you can see, the bread was beige - now it has been in the toaster it is a brown colour'

What's a 'toaster'? Just because you know what a toaster is doesn't mean that I do.

Honestly, is Mona the only one who'll patiently explain things like this without any unwarranted assumptions?

just watched it again and I counted Mona saying 'Cassandra' seven times.

and it was bl**dy annoying!

Mona's perhaps the last totally useless candidate left now.

I got it as well due to the Red Dwarf episode but after Margaret made the comparison, every time Mona was shown, literally all she said was 'Cassandra'. And that amounted to about one or two minutes of footage. Imagine what she must have been for the DAYS that followed.

I wouldn't surprised if this week we see Mona with bruised lips.
