I don't get this.........
I'm still scratching my head about a couple of the things in the boardroom this week.
WHY didn't Nooral just point out to SAS that both he AND BEN were there when they sold the skeleton. SAS kept bashing Nooral with this stick saying "u knew it was worth 159.99 but then you proceeded to sell it for 60 quid!" - so when he said this why the hell didn't Nooral say "well SAS i was thinking about how to negotiate up from 50 quid when Ben just took over the deal and shook the guys hand at 60 - it left me flabbergasted" i mean talk about not being able to think on your feet - and WHY didn't he attack Ben rather than just defending (poorly) himself? He could have pointed out that Ben failed to accurately price the goods and then failed to source out areas to sell to and then failed to get RRP's for any of the items and then having pointed out all these facts may have said "and so Sir Alan in light of all that evidence I think Ben should get sacked" Ben just got through by the skin of his teeth basically cos he thought he was out the door and this helped him in a roundabout way cos for once he almost kept his mouth shut enough for us all not to feel the urge to strangle the little oik. SAS was right to say he looked defeated - was embarrassed on this task, shown up to be just an immature and inexperienced little boy and not one of Britain's brightest business brains lol As for the firing - well given the way he defended himself and the previous tasks he had to sack Nooral - never gonna win it in a million. On the other hand Ben's stock dropped 100%. Debra or Kate (please Kate) to win it, with James hopefully getting involved. Classic attack on Sandhurst boy shown on You're Fired programme afterwards - check it out if not seen it, very funny. |

I thought that when I was watching it.
But why on earth did Nooral arrange an appointment to see the guy and only find out when he got there that the customer was a skint student? Surely he should have discussed a ballpark cost over the phone before driving all the way there? |

Exactly Provista - it's really blindingly obvious questions that go unanswered like these that make me think one of 2 things:
a.) The programme must be butchered to buggery to get us thinking they are all complete cretins. b.) OR they are complete cretins |

I really don't think, regardless of what Nooral had said in the boardroom, that he'd have stayed in place of Ben. He just wasn't apprentice material, I think AS saw that from almost the start, and his days were already numbered. it was just a matter of time.
He handed himself to AS on a plate. |

Were they setting the candidates up for a fall? |

This was Nural putting his foot in it. Nick and SirAlan were leading towards blaming Ben for underselling the skeleton, but Nural leapt in to claim credit for it.
He was wanting to claim credit for something that went wrong! |
