That actually they reallyt like james and are now secretly pleased that he didn't go against Ben and Rocky.

I think he's just such a sweetie. I can't see him winning but he isn't as stupid as people think, he does work hard and comes up with some good ideas.

He just cheers up the show for me, and when he said "WHAT?!" when Ben picked him!

It is so obvious that Ben knew SirAlan wanted rid of deadwood, so he was going to pick two people that he knew Sir Alan would prefer to get rid of.

Sir Alan's reaction to Ben initially choosing James was very telling, I think he's going to go pretty far

There seems to be pretty much 100% unanimous agreement with your thoughts.

Of course. I think James is doing very well on the popularity stakes. Mainly because we all like a bit of a loveable buffoon, I think.

There was bit of outrage on the show and the forums when james was saved in the boardroom. So people are deffo changing their minds!

Lucky for James cos if he had gone against Rocky he would be a bit of a laughing stock.

I have noticed that the girls seem to take him more seriously than the boys who seem to have nothing but disdain for him.

James has been on the losing team with Rocky, Ben, Paula and as PM. Ben wanted to take him in so really Paula is the only one to spare him from the boardroom

I really like James and I'd love him to go far, but I don't think he'll make the final.
He's not ruthless enough, because he just seems like a nice bloke, and probably the most genuine one of the lot.

That expression when Ben nominated him was classic, and I think Srallan was actually sticking up for him when he used the 'village idiot' remark

Yeah, which I couldn't understand. I liked him from the start and was surprised that people actually thought he should have gone over Rocky (who was totally useless on that task). Ah well, at least people are changing their minds a bit.

He's a lovable idiot, and he's actually a good candidate. He finds it a bit difficult to get his point across in the boardroom, but I'd rather have someone like him over someone like Ben who shouts people down.

He won't, and shouldn't, win it, but he'll do well both on and after the show.

I like James. He's a little love. Far too nice for Siralan and the show though.

i think james is getting better and better each week but he does seem to work better with the girls him and yasmina seem to me to be a good pairing loved his reaction to when ben said he was bringing him (james ) back into the boardroom dont think he will win unfortunatly though

I don't think he'll win, but he's loveable.

I just can't take to him

Maybe it's because there's something aggresive about him ... or maybe it's because he put's me in mind of Tommy Cooper's love child

I have a total turn around on James and now think he's a complete sweetheart - can't see him wining this, but I really hope he's in for a few more weeks - his little soundbites are hilarious, and I think he's got a genuinely nice nature

I didn't like James for the first couple of weeks, but now he's my favourite. Lovely guy. He's certainly not an idiot, as some people have suggested; in fact I would say he's highly intelligent, but sometimes has trouble expressing himself eloquently.

I'm with you. There's just something about him that I can't put my finger on. Just don't like him.

I like him but I do get annoyed with the way he reacts in the boardroom. I'm not gonna believe that he really "wants the job" , no-one who's on the show right now is there solely to gain the job , they all wanna be on the telly and if they don't win, carve a career out of it. So his reactions just come across to me as though he's desperate to stay so that he can be on the telly a bit longer.

He has got a bit of that going on! I like him but you know, it's a bit of a relative thing. He seems nice and decent and grounded compared to Phillip and Ben but that's not necessarily a recommendation. Most people would come out well by comparison with those two.

Rocky was pretty bad. What for me was less clear was the episode where he led, the fitness task. He seemed to take his eye off the ball by letting Majid and Ben control the product. I think if he had kept more involved with it, and vetoed the stupider changes, then the product wouldn't have been as much of a disaster. He said something about not being creative, but he did have ideas about it (eg that it should be simple), and he certainly contributed creatively to the cereal task.

That was when Margaret praised him. At that time I couldn't see what she saw, and I think that's not because I was blind but because there was no evidence for it on screen. However, even then I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Since then we've seen he can do well.

I really didn't like him, take him or get his "lostness". But now I think he's one of the better ones this year, quite a contrast from the earlier weeks when I used to be so mad when he escaped from firing.

I like James...he seems a nice chap. And I think he's smarter than people think; his failing is he can get quite frantic in the boardroom situation so if he gets pulled back in (I mean with reason, not just because someone randomly picks him) he could shoot himself in the foot.

I still won't agree that he was a bad pm. I thought he was very good. He did his market research, phoned Ben and said the most important thing is to keep it simple and don't turn it into a home gym. Ben went straight in and did exactly that! James had delegated the task to him as it was his idea. He then gave instruction over the phone which was ignored by Ben. In fact part of me thinks Ben went in and made a home gym precisely because he was told not to. The PM cannot do both parts of a task so he delegated the bit out to the person who seemed most qualified and who had come up with the idea. as far as James was concerned he had delegated according to his team's strengths. Also Ben attacked him for not saying he thought the product was shit. James did actually say it to us the audience in a talking head, but being a good PM he didn't want to dampen his teams spirits so told them it was brilliant to keep the whole team motivated to sell it. He was actually a good PM but members of his team were set on showing him up. Also they could have won, as Debra had no control over her team, and they only won because Phillip had a lucky eleventh hour idea, had he not, they would have gone with Lorraines crappy ankle exerciser.

On that show I really wanted and expected Debras team to lose they were very very lucky to come up with that idea so late!
