I've been reading DS for a while now and joined the forum a few days ago.

One thing I can't miss is not a day goes by that Nick seems to be talking to somebody (newspaper or otherwise) about The Apprentice and its two other stalwarts.

I can't help but think now he's merely in it to try and make a name for himself.

to be perfectly honest Margeret and Nick have had little recognition for what they add to the show.Maybe he is just trying to get a little attention and he deserves it, without Nick and Margaret the show wouldn't be half as good

Nick and Margaret are brilliant!

I don't give a damn whether Nick speaks to the press. I enjoy reading what he says.

They are brilliant and I love the editing of their facial expressions!!!!

Apparently AS sees nothing of what goes on outside of the boardroom and Nick and Margaret relate everything to him to enable him to decide who to fire/support etc and the show wouldn't be the same without them!!!

Nick has been working with SAS since the 80s IIRC, so I don't think he's just there for the media attention - loyalty plays a factor. There's nothing to stop him making a name for himself as a by-product, but I really doubt we'll see him on 'The One Show' with the rest of the vermin

Margaret's better than Nick.

There.

I said it.

You would be forgiven for thinking Nick was Ben's whore, judging from the previous boardroom.

Surely if either of them were key elements of the Sugar business they wouldn't have the time traipse around after the wannabes year in year out?

They are both retired. Margaret was a high flying lawyer with Herbert Smith (well respected city law firm) who did a lot of work for Suralun, and Nick did his PR for many years.

Margaret and Nick are both fabulous and if they can entertain us and at the same time publicise the show, then good luck to them.

I'm not sure how much longer Margeret will be doing it, Bless her she was walking miles behind Phillip's team yesterday as they stormed round with that carpet!

I like both, but think Margaret is the better judge. And her 'but he didn't go did he' comment on Ben is the best line of the series so far.

It was good, but I don't think it surpassed: 'Edinburgh is not what it used to be' in the last series.

I think the moment she will be remembered for most in this series (so far) is putting her head in her hands during Kate's food presentation.

Yes, her "Edinburgh's not what it use to be" was probably the best Apprentice comment of all time. Her delivery was so spot-on. Like them both, and I'm gladf to see Nick giving us more insight into his opinions on the contestants. Like when he said that Katie had bright red lips and a "body made for sin."

Margret ruins the show, she's always whinging about something, I wish she and Nick would shut up, and only talk in the boardroom.
