So I foolish - obviously not on purpose - dropped my ipod in water. It was half in it'l leaster case, in it was sittig i it, but it wasn't closed over it, and was in for about a second before i fished it out.
It didn't really die straight away, carried on playing music, so i quickly dried the excess and put it in the airing cupboard. After a while it came back to life, when i press the home button the screen comes on like it should, but now the touch screen isn't responding. The ipod shows no sign of water damage whatso ever (except of cause the water sensor I've checked
) .
It spent the night in rice, and I'm planning to continue just in case it's that one part that is not yet dry, but if worst comes to worst whats the best way to repair? I'm so broke right now so not a good time. On their own if I just brought the pat it'll cost me about £13 , but I wouldn't have clue how to go about replacing it. Is it easy? Would I just damage the ipod more?
Or you can send it off for some companies to repair, but it's not cheap like £80
Anyone know any good repair people
Help much needed and grateful for - my ipod is my best friend
And my fish on fish tycoon will die
