Good to see Bo Selecta (not funny. I don't get it) and Pop Idols (complete tosh) failing to make much of an impression. Let's hope it stays that way.

36: G-Unit

OUCH thats low, still, the album's doing OK over here, thats the main thing I guess.

Nice to see The Darkness looking good for number 1. They deserve it, that song is better than the competition. I like the Mad World song, but I'm not going to go over the top praising it like others have been, simply because, although nicely sung, it wasnt written by him, and is a cover.

My second favourite out of the list is Ozzy and Kelly, this song has REALLY grown on me, I like it a lot.

Yay! Go darkness! (and the Gary Jules one is great too) Lets hope the bookies are wrong and Pop Idols stay well away from no.1.

P.S. I thought that G-Unit song sounded rubbish, and it kinda deserves that position. And no, I dont hate all rap, I liked 50's "In da club"

Yeah, I dunno, I know a lot of people that hate that G Unit single, but like the rest of the album. I like the single (I dont love it, there are much better rap songs around at the moment), and the album has quite a few good tracks on it.

Wooohoo!! Eat that pop idols

I'm liking the G Unit track, but I don't think it's got that much in it - it isn't sounding as good now as it did when I first heard it. It's definately not the best on the album, which is REALLY growing on my at the moment - 'Footprints' is amazing

It's:

1. Darkness
2. Gary Jules
3. The Idols

I'm glad to see Sugababes beating Atomic Kitten (outside the top 10 may I add) - not just needs to beat Blue!

The cheeky girls went In at Number 10 on this weeks chart so I doubt theyll be anywhere near the top 10 by Sunday!

Whats the logic in releasing a christmas song which is aimed to be in the running for christmas no.1 a week early? Same with cliff richard

Not surprised. Dido's single boosted her album last week above Will Young's, but it was very close.

Will Young has been extensively on TV, promoting his album and promoting World Idol.

They both make good Christmas gifts for a wide demographic, but Will probably has the edge and World Idol should keep him on top after Christmas.
