As a side issue, we don't know if they're counting 4.17/18 as one here, but if 4.18 has 163+ scenes on it's own it's going to be well over an hour long. Voyage of the damned has 122 scenes, Journeys End has 140, POTD has 107.

Not sure 100%....but isn't VOTD longer than JE????
I'm sure that VOTD is an hour and ten minutes, while JE is 65 minutes......so technically if there were more scenes in JE than in VOTD....I'm guessing that the finale will contain many small scenes.....which could cover the fantasy/nightmarish sequences......
And is it me.....or does anyone else get the feeling that RTD and Co are reading and laughing at our suggestions??????
mmmmmmmm....I've surprised myself here-at first reading' filming with Billie Piper' I was like please God no!!! I like Rose but honestly think her story has been told. twice.
But thinking about it-I love the idea of a scene with 'Rose Smith' and 10.5, in which he 'feels' the regeneration. That would well and truly put an end to her story. And i think it would be a good scene to see. Yes I like that idea very much. *crosses fingers*

Hmm, interesting. I'm not surprised I expected it... Didn't really think it would be for one scene.
But I like the idea of 10.5 knowing and then telling Rose... so she knows.. but it does feel a bit strange.. what would be the point? If it wasn't going to prove a plot point in the future storyline or later on in the episode.
I can only imagine they will want her in the episode and this is the easiest way to get her face on screen...
But i am pleased, I like Rose. Wasn't in love with JE ending, I wished it had been different, I wished the Doctor and Rose had a solid strong goodbye, but nah he just sulked off..

Hi guys, very very very long time reader but first post. Kind of feel like I know you guys already.
TBH I'm not sure I really want to see Rose return in any form, flashback, cameo or not. After JE I felt that the whole thing was wrapped up and Rose just doesn't really seem to need any more closure.

What if not only feels it, but since Doctor 10.5 cannot regenerate, what if the connection is strong enough for 10.5 to actually die as Doctor 10 is regenerating? That'll really be a sad ending: Rose losing both 10 and 10.5 at the same time...

Hmm which has made me think jimbo_bob. If that's the case what will the effect be on Donna as she is part of that metacrisis also? I wonder if it will be Donna that has the connection to 10.5 instead of Ten himself as there seems a strong link there.

I would like to see this happen too - one short scene where 10.5 knows it's happening and tells Rose - I'd hate to think it had happened and they didn't know - Rose could well and truly move on with her Doctor then, a proper ending for her brilliant story, which JE didn't do for her.
there are rumours abound that they are filming on the South Bank in London this evening....if DWF can be trusted as a source of reliable information?
