Had to be Jadine i think? i think he genuinely regretted letting her go but felt he had to because she was beginning to feel the strain. i heard that Jadine could have won if she'd managed to hold it together and i can remember Sugar did speak very highly of her afterwards on the 'why i fired them' programme.

Lucinda's wasn't too bad; she was just a bit too zany for his liking.

He's done a few "with regret" firings. I thought he was quite sad to fire Simon last year; he liked the guy, I think, as most of us did, but his limitations had been cruelly exposed.

I think Sharon got a "soft" firing in series 2.

Lohit got a good one. As I recall Sir Alan said some nice things about him and sounded genuinely regretful to have to fire him.

Ansell (sp?) in Series 2. Agree with the Lohit comment. We will never see the likes of those in the interview rounds again, now anyone who is quiet gets accused of being under the radar otherwise known as bad television.

Miriam series 1?

I completley forgot abput that clip but as soon as i watched it then, it all came back, i think SAS liked her, she was my fave in that series but she was clearly homesick,

Jadine's was definitely a nice one. He was really impressed by how much she had changed from the first few weeks. I think only Claire from series 4 comes close to rivalling her for taking in Suralan's criticisms and applying them to the way she conducted herself.

He really didn't want to fire her, but he almost felt guilty keeping her away from her daughter.

Simon from last year, and also Jadine.

I would agree with others, Jadine and Simon are the ones that stick out in my mind as being nicer firings though there has been a few 'with regret' ones.

Didn't she get fired after the QVC task and the guy in charge said he'd give her a job any day because she was so good?
