HI,

I have a Medion MD40288 dvd player

and a

Compacks DVD800 dvd player

Both of these players i have hacked for multiregion, but can anyone tell me if i can play RCE encoded disks?

Also does anyone know of a Macrovision Hack for the player

(Sorry Mods if askin for a macrovision hack is against the rules)

Assuming you don't know anyone with a collection of known RCE discs you can borrow (think Columbia are the only studio still bothering), I would have thought any player modded in the last few years should handle them fine (even my ancient pre-RCE Pioneer 515 with Techtronics mod works fine), though for auto-region-switching mods you might need to load a normal R1 disc first to get past the world map...

my cyberhome apparently plays RCE.

from what i understand if you have a remote hack that allows you to change the region then you just have to set it to the region you require rather than 'any region'
