Could this get Kate and Phil into trouble with SAS? She looks like she could win, but I worry that her affair might do what Michelle's affair with Syed did to her job with SAS.

Michelle didn't quit due to tabloid attention. She quit because she said she had no faith in the the business she had been put in charge of.

Probably, but I reckon it was a combination of both. Her relationship with Syed certainly didn't put her in SAS's good books.

She had far to much media attention after the show ended -other winners tended to go quiet after winning. With all that tabloid attention, Kate might be a cuase for concern when it comes to hiring someone.

Dewberry sought out the tabloids - that is why Sugar teminated the contract. Kate would have to made pregnant by Noorul or Majid to equate with Syed and both are non-runners now.

What I meant was whether Kate having a relationship with a fellow contestant would lose her the job, like it did with Michelle - not whether she was having a relationship with an asian guy! Besides, Phil is almost as big-headed as Syed.

Yep, I think Kate has blown it in starting a relationship with a fellow competitor (especially a t*t like Philip). Sir Alan won't be making the same mistake he did with Michelle.

I think Kate has blown it by not actually having anything to offer! She comes accross as far too much glamour and show and not enough actual substance. I think she has too many people on her side for the wrong reason...and its nothing to do with her mental abilities as I have yet to see any!

Lets face it their are no intelligent people in this competition (Show) its all about image and who talks the loudest. Each time their has been a test were they have to take into account a number of factors they fail miserably! If someone like Kate does manage to win it will show how much of a farce this show has become!

I think both are capapble women. However I think if one of them, or both of them, were not considered by most as obviously pretty compared to their teamates, or just generally, then you woulc not be making this comparison. Basically, what im trying to say is if Kate looked like Lorraine you would not have made this thread.

After watching this episode, I don't think Kate's going to win like Michelle did. I worry that she might let Philip's departure and her growing feud with Lorraine interfere with work.

And as somebody else mentioned, Syed and Michelle's relationship only took off when the show finished - whereas Kate and Philip's emerged from the start, so I think that might have permanently cocked up Kate's chances of winning. It's a shame, because she seemed like quite a good candidate - she just got sucked by that arrogant good looking slimeball...

Really surprised by Kate last night tbh. Apart from not understanding what she sees in that moron, I'm amazed the extent to which she allowed it to affect her performance.

She can still pull it back as they've ALL made errors. It really depends on how she focuses and performs going forward. And also on whether she even wants the job.

Michelle, regardless of what went on with her after the show, was a worthy winner.
