Quite right. It would have been wrong to have brought up the relationship if both Philip and Kate had performed well and the team had still lost. But she mentioned the relationship as the reason why Kate and Philip had not worked hard enough (and Philip admitted on YF that she was right)! I thought she was perfectly justified in mentioning it, and in any event, some of the things that Philip said about her were far more rude.

I don't like Ben - he is just about my least favourite of all the candidates, but in this instance, he did not deserve to be fired, and I think it was right that he was not brought back into the boardroom.

Yes and it's not as though she mentioned it straight away either.

Philip uses ALL the tools at his disposable - including petulance - to defend himself, and as the 'relationship' was clearly a factor in the team's performance, why should she NOT bring it up?

Think Ben was just happy he was with the so called "cool kids" and he realised after Lorraine's cringeworthy motivation speech that working with her was clearly going to be a disaster.

He cant win. If he comes out all guns blazing he gets criticised, he keep quite he gets criticised. To be fair if anything it looks as though he taken on board Sugars suggestions and calmed down.

He still wont win though.
