Firstly, it was apparent that her team were determined
not to be motivated on this task from the outset. They made no effort. They weren't even prepared to take their leader's calls at one point.
Secondly, Philip and Kate are not children that need to be separated. They should have been mature enough to be able to focus on the task at hand.
Thirdly, since the candidates' personal lives were impinging on their task performance, Lorraine had every right to bring them up.
