We could see a new Lorraine now Philip is off the scene? There may not be any more of this 'cassandra'ing?'

No, I think she's blown it already this week and I suspect it will only get worse. She's taken the compliments from Margaret and SA far too far and her ego is out of control and she's become a big head and a nasty cow and made a complete idiot of herself this week taking the 'instinct' thing ridiculously far.

Problem is with large egos, you need the substance and talent underneath to justify it otherwise you will get found out and shot down - unfortunately she has shown she has none so it's just a matter of time.

Nah. I think she's only good at pointing out blatantly idiotic mistakes, and looking good in contrast to abrasive tw*ts like Philip.

Personally I think all of the other girls are better than her.

I was over the moon to see Philip get fired, but I don't think Lorraine will be far behind him.

Did anyone notice the look SA gave Lorraine as she left the BR? He didn't look too happy.

I suspect with Philip's firing her ego is going to be even more unbearable next week so I reckon she's going to be peeing a whole lot more people off.

It's not only Phil she has pissed off during the tasks, he was just the loudest in disliking her. I don't see a change for her.

Her card is marked. I don't think Lorraine will be far behind Philip. But I reckon SA was absolutely right - there was no way he could risk inflicting Philip on any of his staff.

I think being Casandra is a poisoned chalice and will lead to her getting too big for her boots unfortunately. SHe will leave soon, however I am so glad she outlasted Phil the bully.

I totally agree.

Also, her ego may be inflated atm, but SA may pop it very soon!

I'm still struggling to see what Lorraine has done that is so wrong?

Perhaps if she'd shared Kate's good looks, Philip might have taken more notice of her and her ideas.

Instead, she was fobbed off by everybody and that would get my back up too.

I think Lorraine has played up to them for not having the best looks, only it's beginning to wear a bit thin now.

On the Fired program BBC2, Ruby Wax described the Philip, Kate and Lorraine situation very well. The two good looking ones either side of the ugly one in the middle who gets riled even more because of it.

Have you considered that looks do play a part in how people are perceived and responded to?

It's not an excuse, it's a fact.

And I didn't see Lorraine getting riled in the boardroom. She was remarkably calm. It was Philip who lost it. As Sir Alan said, we saw his true colours.

Don't get me wrong, I do question Lorraine's ability. But I think she's been picked on and undermined by this year's 'couple.'

I agree on how Lorraines abililites have been undermined by this, but enough is enough about looks. If anything, this should make her more determined to succeed, and not relish in it.

I agrrrree, maybe someone should mention a really good moisturiser for her along with a paler lipstick.

Even though I'm glad Philip went tonight I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Lorraine was next to be trotting in to the taxi. Her management skills as shown tonight (imo) weren't great. She seems to rile the other team members as well.

It seems that the only person obsessed with the way Lorraine looks is you!

Generally when she's clashed with Philip, she's been equally wrong. Not always, but usually.

On this task she did a poor job of motivating her team, did not separate Philip from Kate, bagged the best pitches for herself even though she's rubbish at doing them, and brought up candidates personal lives in the boardroom.

I agree entirely. Only now its been picked up on I think she may get ahead of herself and put people's back up. SHe does seem to rile people, but I dont really know why she does.

When did she do this?

I'm waiting for someone, Nick? Suralun?, to wip off her glasses and intone: "Ah, but you're beautiful...."

Firstly, it was apparent that her team were determined not to be motivated on this task from the outset. They made no effort. They weren't even prepared to take their leader's calls at one point.

Secondly, Philip and Kate are not children that need to be separated. They should have been mature enough to be able to focus on the task at hand.

Thirdly, since the candidates' personal lives were impinging on their task performance, Lorraine had every right to bring them up.

Agree, dont think she`ll be on the show for much longer.

I do think Lorraine does alienate her other team members and I also believe her 'slow burner' remark to Sir Alan this evening didn't do her any favours either judging by his comments concerning the same.

Lorraine's triumph was to see off the arrogant estate agent Phillip.

Its pretty obvious from SAS's comments she won't win. I'm backing Yasmina after tonight as I think we are going to have a female winner and I would rather it isn't Kate.
