Australian Idol runner up Jessica Mauboy has already enjoyed success in her native and recently signed a deal with Minestry of Sound in the UK, with her album expected to be released this summer.

Her debut single Runnin Back, a collaboration with Flo Rida, became one of the biggest hits of 2008 in OZ and is a great R&B track - the video is below..

What does everyone think? She reminds me of a cross between Stacie Orrico, Keisha from the Sugababes and Rihanna! Quite a variation i know!

"Running Back" has #1 written all over it.

Running Back and Burn are both potential top 10 hits IMO. I think she is actually the 1st Australian Idol star to get a UK record deal, but dont quote me on that one!

I LOVE Jessica Mauboy... see can sing really well and I think that "Running Back" deserves to be #1 here in North America too.

I think she will probably release in Europe and if things go well maybe head to the states. For some reason the US dont usually take well to Australian stars - Both Kylie and Delta have failed to crack the market.

I really like Burn, although I haven't really listened to Running Back much even though I think it's supposed to be the better song. I don't think she's original enough though...

I actually prefer Burn tbh! But Runnin back is a strong track.

Jessica has just scored her 4th top 20 hit from her platinum selling album in Oz... Running back reached number 3, Burn number 1, Been Waiting number 12 and Becasue currently sits at number 9

Wish she would hurry up and release in the Uk!
