EMA's Glasgow --- nah i'll happily avoid it .... Nicki Minaj is presenting .... she'll be prancing around to starships/anaconda ![]() Maybe you can dress up as Nicki Minaj and try and sneak in. Just screech a bit and they'll not know. Just don't screech in tune or they'll know it's not Minaj. I never watch these terrible shows. If i spot something when I flick, then great. |

It was the Above and Beyond 'Everytime' remix, but she sings 20 words approx. Vocal Trance is pushing it.
I guess Girls Aloud were in there as Clubland like to play them. Unfortunately, as time goes by, the older music, bar the ones they deem as classics, disappear, even on classic channels. VH1 could have done something to mark the EMA's, but for some reason they just keep playing the same things. Taylor Swift's heartbreakers again tonight. Vintage TV seem to do ok playing old music. Doesn't look too bad to me. Clubland still don't have Cascada's new one. Two weeks the video has been out now, they are on Clubland's label and.....nothing. Bizarre. Not the greatest Cascada tune by some distance but they seem to promote a lot of their other acts to the point of overkill. If they don't play it, that would be the third video in the last five not shown on UK TV and it's one of the biggest acts on their own label. I understand that to a point that some classics are pushed out but really as if some of todays music will be remembered! VH1 is the new MTV for the younger generation - Taylor Swift they stuck on play with her? Vintage TV - Whilst I will credit them they play classics but for me in general ONE channel to cover it really? VH1 should be doing more! Cascada - wow never realised how quick this lot are coming across (Clubland TV) in not promoting, irony of it they'll push other acts more than their own lol |

Noy my kids mine, although they are probably too old for her mainstream music. She has done other music which is a bit more mature but she sold out. MTV Classic is the classic channel that could do more. VH1 should be promoting new music from acts taht MTV Hits etc doesn't want. VH1 is the softly softly channel of MTV. Clubland are a very strange channel. One minute very good, the next they are treating us like fools. They had a chart the other day of the most selected anthems that day. Only thing was that on that day, none of those tracks were available to select on the app. The daily charts are also the same day after day for the past 6 weeks or so - just utter bullshine from them. Looked on their facebook, no mention of Cascada's new song but Clubland 26 is out 3rd November, so expect lot's of top 26 programmes. Hopefully Cascada can get out of aatw soon. They don't promote the new music of theirs in the way that they should. Not even showing 3 of their last 5 videos is unacceptable towards their own act. I'm sure they do it to others as well, I just don't know their full act reperoire. |

(and this is for music in general), I find myself more listening to Radio 2 for new music - recently been listening to Lenny Kravitz -- The Chamber/Strut and Heatradio has been playing a good classic from the 90's Reel 2 Real - I Like to Move it!

Rock/Alternative? Isn't that what most videos on MTV these days are "soft porn" videos - that Anaconda video surprised me being played during the day - but hey ho think of it I am glad the likes of Eminem/The Prodigy if the video was deemed not worthy of play during the day they kept it to 9pm or in Eminem's case it was "slowed down" but these days the full video can be put it out before 9pm with minor alterations, pity they can't apply these same rules to videos of the past (I don't blame management of then of being careful of videos but its one rule for one and is another for someone else) If they are able to show footage from 2000+ where are the 90's, lets not forget these are the very same channels that have moved from 80's music to now 90's so there should be no way how they can play music videos of the 90's but can't or don't want to find 90's EMA's it totally defeats the purpose with me if I am honest! (and its part of music/MTV Europe/UK history) Regarding EMA's/MTV UK - be a coincedince would it not if in 2017 - MTV UK celebrates its 20 years on air they manage to dig up some EMA stuff then? (dating it from 97 of course what happened before they wouldn't know/care about) |

Cascada's latest song is absolute trash and if AATW are making them go down the route of trying to be like Garrix morons then I hope they can get out.

Lasgo/Van Dahl/Cascada are played a fair bit on their classics days. I can't complain too much about the playlist other than the overkill of Holly Hagan and whatever they choose at the time - Scooter's two new ones are all over it when they can get it on. Both songs twice in half an hour one day last week. It's merely the fact the charts and the charts that they say are most selected by app TODAY that has been the same charts for 6+ weeks and the charts where songs have supposedly been selected but i've never seen them played. It's just they are a bit economical with the truth. I don't listen to the radio really. Clubland - just stick to proper dance in general! - The likes of Taylor Swift should not even be on a dance channel, I understand Ellie Goulding/Calvin Harris but its when artists just merely jump ship for no real reason and be known to us as dance artists thats when its a complete joke! I made those rock nominations up - I just would not be surprised anymore. |

Maybe Holly isn't on one of the labels MTV promotes? MTV Music plays as much live music as MTV Live. They had loads yesterday evening. All DJ's that I am aware of on Radio 1 are merely celebrity gossipers as opposed to DJ's. Even most of the young people I know hate Radio 1 and prefer other stations, so it's not just us 'oldies'. |

It's a cool remix but doesn't it ruin the song? Everytime is meant to be a rather sad song, probably one of the saddest Britney has ever done. I was watching the Lucky video last night and I was crying a bit No it just has the logo (Circus era) and a photo. This is it: http://oi57.tinypic.com/2q3u58p.jpg I need to wind my lecturer up with it. I was in her office last Thursday but I didn't wear it.

All DJ's that I am aware of on Radio 1 are merely celebrity gossipers as opposed to DJ's. Even most of the young people I know hate Radio 1 and prefer other stations, so it's not just us 'oldies'. Holly - she might not be on a label they don't "promote" but the irony is in itself she is from one of their shows, so why not show "support" for her ... oh wait pointless answering that one ... as MTV only care as long as she looks a mess and talks about sex its all good ![]() MTV Music/MTV Live - I have noted a couple times that they somehow show live programming (have once done a timeshift) - but whats the point? Supposedly MTV Live HD has its own SD sister so why have MTV Music? MTV Music in general is basically a channel like MTV Hits with a bit of MTV Live and possibly a mix of their sister stations - weird that? Since most of their channels are looking exactly the same I listened to Radio 1 in the 90's but that was for the Top 40 - I barely touch it with a barge pole - Radio 2 comes across to me as friendly to the listener |

Right
I found the remix on Youtube. I was in her office last Thursday but I didn't wear it.You will get a surprise when she turns up to the next meeting in an Aguilera t-shirt. Quote:
Have Bieber/One Direction been played on MTV Dance? - news to me (One Direction) but Bieber is on MTV Base - another channel slowing sinking into the abyss

The fact she is on MTV and gone to a rival label may be the reason. I didn't even notice MTV Live SD had replaced HD and HD moved back to 386 until a week ago - so little do I look at it. Radio 1 in 80's/90's was great - Wright, Brookes, Mayo, Davies, Pearce, Bate, DLT (!!!), Brambles and many many others. Clubland just played Carly Rae Jepsen on 00's v Now - Top 75 Dance

That annoying fox song from 2013 is likely to turn up on MTV Classic as they don't care about music anymore.

Radio 1 DJ's I listened to was Mark Goodier/Bruno Brookes (Top 40) Dave Pearce (hit and miss at times) but most of the DJ's from radio 1 yesteryear are on Radio 2 or on commerical stations Clubland - Carly Rae Jepsen - no need to give a straight forward answer but you know thats wrong!

Thats true and possibly the whole point is if they get a kick out of it .... surprises me MTV Dance hasn't played the song .... yet back to when original was played on MTV Dance though

Now SD is back and you must pay more for HD. Yeah, Goodier was another good one when he done the charts. He's now a voiceover on Now. Yep, Carly Rae wasn't even a mix, just the straight out cheesefest original. |

(and this is for music in general), I find myself more listening to Radio 2 for new music - recently been listening to Lenny Kravitz -- The Chamber/Strut and Heatradio has been playing a good classic from the 90's Reel 2 Real - I Like to Move it!
