Sadly, I think this is reflective of our society and how the country is. Do as we say, airbrush history and say everything is great when deep down we know this isn't reality. Had to laugh when Will Best said it has been a great decade. ......erm, a decade where the public have been treated like crap, less money and two musically poor years in 2011 and 2014.”
Sadly, a lot of channels think Beyonce is the be all and end all.
Heat rarely go an hour without songs from Beyonce, Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake and NSync all being played - they simply cannot do it unless an unrelated chart is on.
Beyonce charts everywhere today on many channels. Pointless.
Even their OTT love of Rihanna, Katy Perry, 1D, Pink etc is understated compared to their love of Bey and JT. They don't even like them for music, purely as they think they are gorgeous. Bauer are the worst for pretentious programming and something of a joke when it comes to being respected for their programming.

It's only really changed names/graphics and had a few different owners but luckily they've kept the format exactly the same over the years but when CSC took over they got rid of the 3am-8am videos that you wouldn't find on many music channels.”
It is a surprise but maybe other channels,. Bauer and MTV for example can take note of how to run a channel without the same programming over and over whilst giving lesser artists a voice.
I note than MTV and Bauer are doing their usual x amount of new artists for the new year and saying how they will be supporting them etc.
Just like every year, after February they'll never play 90% of them again as they haven't made it big quick enough. They only do it so they can say they made them. They have no real interest in the artists at all.
Music TV in general is back to normal. Same old crappy countdowns and shows.
Disturbing that MTV Classic is showing more dance than MTV Dance. MTV Dance has gone to the dogs. They've gone chart crazy now.
