As you mentioned Sylvester2007 its the same faces over and over.
Heat TV is the biggest waste of space ever. Do we care about celeb bed-hopping antics? What next an insight in the vulva of Tulisa? |

Wow! I didn't know Alicia Keys's No One is a love song, a feelgood song and now a summer song (same with Bon Jovi 'Always' both on Magic). Incredible!

You know the worst thing - when, despite everything these people do - Chris Brown, Tulisa, Dappy - any of the criminals, they just carry on kissing the butt of them. Unless it's child sex crimes and you'll never see Gary Glitter on even vintage - understandable, but the likes of Chris Brown should never grace our screens again.........but he's FFFFIIIIIIITTTTTT is the reason....great
To me people like Chris Brown should have their songs banned. The same ones who fancy him are probably the same ones who are very promiscious. Domestic violence is not sexy. It kills. |

I know that some people would say what Chris done should be forgiven, yet for someone like myself to have witnessed something to that degree is just an insult to injury but again its media (all is forgiven and welcome back .... now play some of that dross) |

Its in the irony of itself people under "banned" list are never heard of on TV/radio but the "artists" (coughs) "criminals" of today its just "all is forgiven" are we missing something here?

Sadly if you have money you can buy justice and all is OK. Its an insult to humanity when someone who has commited a crime is forgiven. Brown is a nasty piece of work and should be ostracised.

Being forgiven means proving it over a long period of time. He went away for a few months and came back and now he's the schnizzle again. They all get away with it. T.I is awful and should be made to feel punished, not adored for his crimes. If time was focused on those helping others and I don't mean a celeb publicity stunt for charity, we wouldn't be in this mess. I think now, record companies and the media are more and more focused on promoting the artists instead of the music. Chris Brown probably has a few friends in high places hence the forgivness. |

I think part of the problem is the music industry is international, and maybe the US media doesn't take crimes like those committed by Chris Brown and Rihanna seriously. Our government could help by saying only 25% or maybe of the music played on music channels can be from outside the UK. Social media has totally changed the relationship between fans and their favourite artists. I can't relate to what people post on Twitter about say Justin Bieber, another musician who should be banned from the music channels, but if these same people want to see their favourite musicians on the music channels and those channels then announce that due to those musicians being involved in crime they won't be played, those music channels could become victims of a very intimidating Twitter campaign and when people think of say The Box, what they will think is "that channel doesn't show Chris Brown any more". I don't think the music channels can take the lead any more. They are not the primary place to go for music fans any more. Twitter and YouTube are the primary places now. It isn't like ten years ago, except on the Kerrang playlist. |

I think a system that is in force in France with 30% international acts is the way forward. Would limit the likes of Nicki Minaj gettinf tons of attention easily.
I think with any celeb who commits crime. Money obviously talks. Society is in a bad state all over the world. Those at the top are worser than the everyday Joes. Look at these paedo rings. 4music in the day is focusing on the lazy Karadshians and Million Matchmaker in the afternoons from next week. Considering a lot of normal people are losing money, I feel this is insulting. Programmes about vast wealth should be banned during a recession. |

Yet if you look at ITV2 (ok it ain't music related) but when you have the clowns from TOWIE who been to Marbella and now back to Essex and have all the "bling" and "fast cars" ... yep pretty much shows how "insulting" these shows are (but of course lets remember it's all staged most likely - TOWIE is don't know about Millionaire or the Kimyes)
Saddest thing is those who have nothing or little are penalised by the government. The US and UK are governed by the rich for the rich. |

Kardashians are just attention seekers. Too much money not achieved through hard work. Same with the TOWIE lot.

I totally agree with this and feel very strongly about it. Allowing these criminals to continue their careers as has happened for decades sort of trivials their criminality and even allows them to glorify it. What's worse is that if they weren't like that they would probably have never been allowed in the music industry. All the names you mentioned should never be allowed on TV again.

I'm not sure what can be done. The British government aren't strong enough, they only seem to pick on the vulnerable and not stand up to the multi national organisations which produce these vulgar people.
The channels are basically paid to promote artists and if it means Chris Brown, Dappy etc are worth money to them, the morals go out the window. Didn't know about French laws - should have that in the UK. People with money get away with most things. Someone needs to be made an example of and punished big time, setting down a marker for others. Program the other day was something like 1D v The Wanted v Union J - erm....how much Union J video did they have? ![]() The music channels are mere puppets to the labels. The record labels use their dirty money to pay the channels to promote their acts. I agree. You need a big name punished to shake up the system. That is odd. Unless it was Union Js XFactor performances? Saying that I did flick through and see two songs...one was Illuminati anthem "Scream and Shout" which Will.I.Am recorded on the loo and some other crap. It said it was compiled by the band and fans, but I dont believe that. Interesting on 4music at 01.25-02.15 Video Junkie which is under the radar videos. If this is newbies why shove this on at silly o'clock? We dont want the same acts forced down our throats. |
