Off the top of my head, they play Till The World Ends, 3, Womanizer, Megamix and 1 or 2 more.

Meghan Trainor is very 80's and very cheesy. Lots of bright colours to make you look....and then wish you hadn't.

You are Iggy? I hope you rap better than her!
Circus and Work are the other two.

Yes, you can download DVD quality videos from years ago and put them on an external hard drive.
Sounds good.

Anyone notice that Big Brother gets advertised on every other channel apart from Channel 5 itself?
Ha! I don't watch channel 5 but why does this still surprise me? Bizarre.

There is some shining beacons, but not in pop music unfortunately. It's the same recycled and regurgitated ideas over and over. A fag packet is the difference between Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry - there is no originality.
yes there are, of which Taylor is one of the beacons

Chart on Magic right now - Biggest Hits of the 90's - it's not based on sales, just opinion, however they are calling it 'Official'.

All based on opinion, whcih you are entitled too.

I think Taylor and Ariana are far more talented than Katy Perry out of Neil's list, but I am fans of none of them. Taylor did a brilliant song - Back To December, but then went too immature and self obsessed, for me.

I love Cascada, not many do, but that's musical taste for you.

Capital did something a little strange this afternoon.

Premiere of Nathan Sykes at 16.55 but they put him in the #IWant voting and it was played before the 'Premiere'.

Some decent tunes out right now - most of them, if not all of them, from artists outside the really big names.

I've been looking at some channels other than my normal ones and my word do these UK Top 40, Hot 40, Big Top 40, Britains Top 40 etc get played a lot!

There is far too much of it on these channels (not going too list channels individually but you get the point)

I now get AKA/Capital/Heart/Now Music and Vintage on my Freetime/Freeview Panasonic TV

Yes, we have official, unofficial, unofficial official (not offical top 40 but all the variations) and then we have audio, streaming, updates, dance, r'n'b, specific people charts, airplay and on and on....yawn!

Nice.....well, maybe not....more options at least.

Back in the day of MTV/VH1 it was basic charts ie Hitlist UK, Euro Top 20 (odd that ain't on no more!) and US Top 20 (another countdown thats gone off radar) but with list you mentioned there is far too much and not forgetting the made up countdowns such as Tiesto vs rest of the world - Chris Brown v rest of world or the simple ones such as Taylor Swift v Rihanna etc - creativity hardly exists these days but then why should we be surprised?

Planet Pop are funny ones.

Justin Bieber/Diplo/Skrillex played in a Hot Girls programme - about 4 times.

Also played Katy Perry and Juicy J as a Freaky 2015 Big Hit.

Been looking at Smash Hits and Chart Show TV lately - not channels I usually look at, but aren't they appalling? I don't think Smash Hits has changed graphics in the past 2-3 years and Chart Show is the same 10 songs on a loop aside when they do 'charts'.

I see the repeats of the "non celeb" edition of Big Brother is now on MTV .... I'll guess MTV is sinking lower for entertainment these days?

Will look at it, cheers.

All bar Vintage and to an extent Clubland have the same handful of songs on a loop and they have the same top 10 charts on 5/6 times a day and other charts on 2 or 3 times a day. Pointless.

I still wouldn't expect MTV to air this programme in the first place - during the "Channel 4" era of the show you would think there was more interest back then .... but I guess since Viacom owns Channel 5 these days so I guess its to give the programme more interest (if any), I wonder what the ratings are for this on MTV/MTV HD and +1 regarding the repeats.

Been reading on that on here - programme these days seems to sink lower and with original fans of the show on some threads it seems the programme has lost its way - but hey its the norm these days as channels are doing exactly that, scraping barrels

say what now? lol

I think Smash Hits was the first one to be updated in the revamps of Bauer channels, The Box was second last recently and well Kerrang has been updated - why they can't update channels at same time (apply new looks), but then again look at MTV, how many times has their graphics been updated since say 2006? VH1 has only been updated ONCE (other than their previous logo changed colour) - priority on these channels is all wrong

Kezo, should I be having a problem with Big Brother on MTV as well then? I love the show.

I was impressed with The Vault today, who played an hour of Eurovision. Bit late, but nice nonetheless. Mostly UK entries but a few others too that you'd never imagine seeing on a music channel here. Definitely better than the other channels attempt at a 'eurovision party' last Saturday which was essentially just the usual Saturday party tracks: flo ride etc.

Big Brother repeats are a new low, MTV is becoming a dumping ground for Channel 5 trash.

They've played the show quite a lot a few weeks before Eurovision and now after, but none on or around it - bizarre.

Same songs every time though, so a bit predictable.

The other channels are pathetic though. The odd European artist, the odd Eurovision song - Loreen for example, but it was Beyonce, Rihanna, JT, Swift etc - so really barely anything different to any other day and they had the cheek to use Eurovision in the title.

They do it every year though.

The year before last Chart Show Dance/Dance Nation and Chart Show TV were playing proper Eurovision themed shows with real eurovision artists and not just Loreen

Have any music channels started playing Mans Zelmerlow yet?

If you like it - then fair enough but I hate being bombarded by a programme thats past its sell by date ... but MTV is scraping barrels - yet surprised they didn't dump it on VH1

On the other hand surprised they are repeating the show on MTV these days but when it was running on Channel 4 surprised Viacom didn't pick it up and repeat it back then? Could it be because Viacom now owns Channel 5 that they now want to repeat Big Brother to boost ratings on MTV?

Yeah, it was the Cascada year. They played loads of them that no-one else ever touched including the Russian Grannies.

Planet Pop played Mats Zelmerlow yesterday and Viva have it as a new video later today.

AAH but they plug it on every music channel owned by Viacom - similar to all things that are really MTV these days - you got to just look at top right of an MTV channel telling the viewer to go to the main MTV for the latest "show" , irony of it all is why they hardly use that space for the channels own programming ... ie MTV Dance/Rocks, they seem to think that no matter the genre of music your into you have to go to MTV or the new thing Channel 5, where is the self promotion of the channels or better yet the "sharing" of promos on all channels? I do know Bauer are at it as well - all they advertise is 4Music or on the odd occasion Channel 4/E4 (surprised why More 4 aint advertised!)
