, in a way I am partly glad that I don't need to see the MTV crap bombarding the channel ie New Geordie Shore on MTV etc - when will those at MTV UK/Viacom that majority of its viewers couldn't give a toss about whats on MTV but more wanting to know whats on VH1 etc?”
MTV Classic is very repetitive. I'd rather they kept it but had a good look at it and gave it a wider range of music.
MTV Music can be the current music channel, MTV Hits - hits from maybe the 21st century, but not the last year or two, VH1 can delves into music from all decades but maybe a little more easy listening than MTV Classic, VIVA a mixture of current and noughties and MTV Music +1 can be a new channel - maybe bring back MTV 90's for this slot.

They'll never have no adverts. It's how they stay afloat.
MTV Live was great when came from Poland.
VH1 today - Top 50 solo artists - including Rihanna and Shakira collab. You could argue it's two solo artists, but it's not a solo song....
Now was good yesterday, a few hours of songs from various Now CD's - Now 74, Now 78, Now 81 etc - they've done a few before,. but not 6 or 7 hours in a row. The only downside is each hour seemed to have a Rihanna or Beyonce song, so I guess that's the main reason for choosing the Now's that they did.
