What's with the new obsession with Corruption, Rihanna's ethnicity and The Illuminati in this thread?
Honestly if these music channels are really making you so angry then don't watch them. A few people with a grudge in a forum aren't going to change anything. Rihanna may not be American but if you look at her Wikipedia page you'll see that she moved to America to pursue her career and she's one of the biggest stars (although completely shite) of the moment and you don't see many Barbadians around so I don't see the problem. I mean if she was a traditional Barbadian musician and her music was in the US themed charts the there would be a valid reason to moan.
The Valleys and Geordie Shore are obviously big shows for MTV. I don't watch them or like them but a lot of people do so of course MTV are going to advertise them as they make a lot of money for the company. Maybe you could flick to another music channel, a shopping channel or an entertainment channel when MTV has adverts, it's not hard is it?
And does it really matter about what you heard about artists e.g. Christina Perri or whether they've been in trouble or not? if people want to like them then it's up to them. Chris Brown may be horrid but there's millions who still like him. It's just something you've got to deal with.

Obviously it's not, everyone is different, but I always had funny folk from Wrexham.
