MTV Rocks seems to be the only channel I've seen playing the new Kings of Leon track, Jake Bugg and the new Bastille track.

I doubt any of the other channels will pick up on them unless they hit they top ten singles.

Terrible song!

That's only being played because she's got new music coming out. I lost all respect for her when she married that prat Russell Brand.

Bliss played a rare song last night. Rockstar by Prima J released in 2007 which I hadn't heard since around 2008.

Kings of Leon are on the MTV Music, Rocks and VH1 playlists. Arctic Monkeys are also on Rocks. It's strange that Bauer aren't playing them, perhaps MTV have an exclusive for the first few days?
I remember in the early 00s either MTV or The Box would sometimes get given exclusives but they stopped doing it because it often upset the other channel. Someone I knew at The Box told me that if MTV got an exclusive they would make a point of not playlisting it later on, unless they really had to.

Justin Timberlake was the first one they did, then Rihanna, Now Swifty.

I'm surprised they haven't done a Beyonce, Pink or Gaga one as they seem to be pretty far up each of those artists rectums.

They'll be next

You know what, I would not be surprised. Throw on Rita Ora and One Direction too.

Deffo. He is probably on more money than us and is basically doing a shit job.

I wish they would be replaced by a decent channel.

The problem is they have four channels doing virtually the same thing. Box and Smash Hits are very similar as are 4Music and Heat. Get rid of two of them and replace them with something a little different - not much hope though

Is that any good? I was planning to watch it but totally forgot.

I miss the episodes of South Park on Viva They obviously had to stop showing when they went Free To Air on satellite.

I'm yet to find an answer why MTV are still keeping their 'Music' channels Pay when they're exactly the same as the Free ones lol.

You can get them all on DVD now and at a pretty reasonable price

Being honest I think it is a grower supposedly its a "comedy central" programme again surprised why comedy central UK does not first play them than put them on VIVA as comedy central sometimes is dire now

It is not bad you get a few laughs with it but I think it depends on your humour

Anybody notice how Bliss has become heavily confused on pop music chart stuff and The Vault sticks to 00's pop? Gone the days these channels played older music.

The Vault plays pop from the late 90's and 00's. It's mainly the cheesy pop and you find some rare videos that never get played by other channels.

Bliss doesn't exactly play the same music as the other chart channels. They have some chart music but it's only the stuff like Michael Buble and Olly Murs that the Grannies like plus quite a few 80's and 90's videos.

There's plenty of older music on the music channels. Vintage TV is full of it, Summer/Greatest Hits is full of 80's music that you obsess over plus MTV Classic and Magic so I don't see your problem

The companies obviously don't feel that closures need to made.

Bliss isn't a shallow of the channel it was under Sky ownership.

All the music channels on Sky tend to avoid 80's and 90's music now anyway. CSC seem to have swapped a few of there EPG slots about so BuzMuzik is further up and Scuzz next to Kerrang.

For me MTV networks offer the best variety still. Maybe the reason they are still in pay tv. The only network offering HD too.

Greatest Hits and Vintage TV are decent. It's Summer Hits TV at the moment always seems to be confused by branding so I sometimes skip past this channel.

For me MTV Networks is one of the worst in variety, Vintage TV wins me more than the lot at MTV, I barely see any "variety" on their channels - its the top 40 stuck on a loop and the only "variation" sometimes is the weekends but again - most of the channels seem to want to "delete" everything musically in the past and play more current which we all know is mostly the dogs bollocks , example watched MTV Dance 90's vs 00's - Fedde Le Grande Creeps/Freaks - Creep (can't remember the 90's songs lol) but it looked like to me as if this lot are running out of ideas on "programming" and it is the pits
