Blurred Lines has made it's way onto MTV Classic.

That didn't take long.

Its only been out four months! As much as I hate it, that and Get Lucky will be the only songs from the year of dross 2013 that will be remembered.

That's a shame. Perhaps it's a programming error, as recently i've found MTV Classic to be more like the old VH1 Classic with a better variety of classic hits.

I don't have this channel but I do hope your right it is an error, but then again look at the countdowns VH1 does and puts in a wrong "decade" track , i'll ask this again does anyone at these stations actually research the countdowns/playlists before air or do they just roll them out without a toss? (looks more to me not caring .....)

These are the 2 typical channels for this crap being stuck on I hate the ad though for "4Music" .... you have "stars" saying "we are 4Music" bet you none of them even watch the channels

I think I seen on my EPG on Virgin tonight that MTV/MTV Music were repeating the "main" show of the VMA's at same time - now you can't say its down to "choice" on where you watch it - by chance does MTV Music or whatever channel shows this at same time link up and run or do they actually run seperate with different ads?

EDIT - checked MTV site in case it was my imagination and yep sure was right

Glad i rid of Entertainment Extra never watch any channels in that package and for MTV and its poorly run music channels to be included in that package is totally unbelievable when Free ones play the same videos every day.

MTV lost all respect and trust when they decided to ditch all music and its themed music programming for trashy reality tv and dumb shows like Jersey Shore/Geordie Shore , The Valleys.

I'm 24 and i couldn't care less about these freaks on these reality shows chattering away about their Sex Life and other personal things about their bodies sad sad sad times we live in for people to be that interested in these sorts of things

I have deleted the two music channels on Freeview. Can not be doing with the same old songs on repeat and spoiled brats such as the Kardashians.

Agreed. It has cross appeal too. Better than endless repeats of the Kardashians and Fresh Prince.

What do the Kardashians have to do with the UK really and from the way you hear them being advertised its as if they are the "royal family" - bunch of wannabes they struck it lucky....

No idea kezo. Saying that, the other scroungers the Chelsea lot are a bad example of the UK. Sickening that people who have little money are punished, whilst they get away.

I doubt the Kardashians have done a hard days graft in their lives. These people always tend to get easy jobs anyway which involves little to minimal work...

I have to admit, it feels liberating deleting both of those channels. Sick of the constant celeb this, celeb that.

Unrelated to the music channels: I noticed Heat Radio over the weekend played some gems! I heard our 1995 Eurovision entry "Love City Groove" by Love City Groove on there which was a shock! Only came 10th in the contest, but was very modern for it's time. However, aside from the specalist weekends of old hits, it has turned into One Direction FM with their songs played every hour and little bulletins about individual members

Clubland have sorted out the size of the codes. White on purple doesn't really work for my eyes though

The new slogan: The New Clubland - Now Fresher and Faster.

Fresher - not really, still the same old rubbish mainly and the same programs/charts, some re-named. Faster - if they mean cutting off the beginning and ends of videos 'faster', then they are indeed faster.

It bugs me to hell if you see those ads on VH1 - what does these wannabes have to do with the demographic of VH1, but then again looking at VH1 I wouldn't be at all surprised if its aimed to the MTV cliche market

So you got MTV - VIVA (MTV2) - viva is MTV's dumping ground

VH1 - no real sense of direction

MTV Base/Dance - nearly the same tracks with minor alterations but still playing the same chart music (obviously)

MTV Rocks - dont watch but still waiting that to return to MTV2

MTV Hits - chart music non-stop (without the classic hits of yesteryear and that too VH1 can do right)

MTV Live - took it as an alternative station being "edgy/rocky" music - since under UK control has became nearly MTV Hits but just in HD (wow!) and has became more "poppy" with the likes of the Bieber being played and Girls Aloud (yes so much for that complete alternative channel to get away from most of this crap but sadly its coming too that as well) - and is the ONLY MTV channel without TELESHOPPING (but i'll give it time)

MTV Music - name is already laughable - weren't you already that?? - again like MTV Hits same crap different day

and if MTV Management thought out better but no one really gives a damn about your banal reality crap being advertised

They've been doing well lately, although yesterday was Bon Jovi and Guns n Roses every few songs - not that i'm complaining, but they were very lazy with the programming yesterday.

Regarding HeatRadio - I only listen to Partyheat at weekends and it plays classics such as Ken Doh and Gusto and even songs like Heatwave/Earth Wind and Fire to name a few pity they don't reflect that on the TV channel but they would possibly slag the tracks off too!

Regarding 1D I am so tired of this fanfare at the moment .... them and The Wanted .... just bug off!

That's the irony of it all ain't it .... you can be rich/famous - won't be touched with a barge pole but if your poor and working class be slagged off and be demonised to the public - yes whats wrong with the picture here?

and yes the likes of TOWIE/Chelsea/Kardashians are good role models for today aren't they? Don't get what you want moan like hell til you get it, also be all tanned up and be blinged up is also another eyesore - for god sake you lot get real and stop living in fantasyland

I guess "normal" staff were off on a bank holiday but the replacements must have thought to take the whizz out of the schedule - how does a 2013 track even make it to a "classic" channel when it ain't a "classic" yet - but then again "old skool" and "classics" are now from 00's onwards and anything before hand are ignored as "classics" "old skool" but will be more referred to as ie 80's v 90's or battle of the decades

TMF
The Box
4Music

All played the exact same song La Roux - In For The Kill. It says alot about music channels on sky these days? Plus they actually all sit next to each other so try flicking three channels to find the same song.
It's hard enough just to find a flamin song Inbetween all those damn adverts !

Not your imagination - as during the ads of NCIS at 9pm - I would go to these channels were in ad breaks as well - except for Heat/The Box/MTV Dance had songs playing and well the songs weren't that great!

Every music channel on Sky seems to go off track seems to be the way of it over the years.
